The TATA IPL 2023 Player Auction saw a total of 80 players sold and INR 1,67,00,00,000 spent collectively amongst the ten franchises in Kochi.

IPL Players auction will take place on December 19, 2023 , The IPL players auction will take place in Dubai on December 19, ahead of the 2024 season. The second ODI of India's tour of South Africa is slated for December 19 at Gqebera, and the event will fall on that day. Franchises have announced their selection list on November 26, 2023.

The first match of IPL 2024 will be between the Gujarat Titans and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai. which will be scheduled on March 23, 2024. The CSK will be led by MS Dhoni, and the Gujarat Titans will be led by Gill.
