No matter what PH believe, indian viewers still prefer marriages that last and undying love between leads(regardless of any third angle) - and they have repeatedly betrayed the viewers faith and sentiments! And a show about family values and togetherness portraying family as the root cause of most problems - how would they retain their loyal audience this way? 🤷‍♀️

@bold 2: apparently it is a marketing strategy. But it proves that Akshnav tagline or couple was not popular . Otherwise, they would have definitely given that to the legacy FL, forget Abhira. Makers know Abhira stands for which couple. There is no ambiguity in the context of Rishta but they gave it because of its popularity. It is as simple as that
