Actually Adnan and Aditi has such strong screen presence that Manish's casting seems so glaring.They needed to bring in such a parallel lead who can give Adnan a tough competition in terms of acting and aura.But unfortunately everything which can make a third angle appealing to viewers was missing.This Sphere's Origin had brought Siddharth Shukla opposite Pratyusha in Balika Vadhu.And the guy gave such a tough competition to Shashank ,the lead of the show that he was completely wiped off!! Katha was always a closed book...she only opened up and was bebak infront of Viaan.But what made viewers not to connect with her off late was the way she kept the truth under wraps and was playing with others lives just to protect her son.Katha was never like that....she never hid anything from Viaan....their relationship had transparency.I was totally in love with her character...never was so inclined to Viaan but writers compelled me to shift my inclination towards Viaan more now and feel dissapointed with Katha.

At this point of time even when the show is about to shut down the way they are still dragging Raghav and his family....makes me feel it's much better to shut it down.More time they get, more will be the damage done!!

Yeah Manish as Raghav is simply no match against Siddharth Shukla as Shiv. Here Adnan and Aditi simply overshadow Manish by a large margin. He isn't even close. Now, another show, I have info of .

I just got a glimpse of a few episodes of Balika Vadhu like 7 years ago and a few months ago when it was reairing on colors so, I had idea of plot of the show. It is also a good show but, obsolete with current standards. They were showing episodes after Anandi grew up and was struggling to move on with Shiv. I enjoyed Siddharth Shukla a lot as Shiv, I would prefer him anytime over the actor playing Jagdish. But, Manish and Aditi, its so cringe.

But, this is the kind of bias one needs to keep aside when watching any story. Its good that you stated it. Unfortunately, this kind of bias is present in loads in ITV. Raghav is pale in comparison to Viaan. But, is he a bad character? As a therapist - Yes, he is a dumb therapist. But as a person, he isn't that bad. He is giving as much space to Katha as possible and is taking care of her. He is not bad person. Yes, he is indeed no match against Viaan. Manish is no match against Adnan. Comparing Viaan or moving on with any other male lead or parallel lead is totally unfair here.

Most of the people root for 3rd angle when male lead turns out to be toxic and break up abusively.

Even if 3rd angle could act well or connect, audience wouldn't have rooted for him as ML isn't abusive here or he didn't disrespect her.

Third angle was totally unnecessary in this show and forced.

What’s the use of so many segments now?

They could have brought the bestest actor in the industry and it still wouldn't have made a difference because there was no reason for the audience to ship Katha with anyone else except Viaan. Why would you root for the other hero when the first one was all fine and dandy? They had the perfect relationship, Viaan was completely devoted and loving, and there was no love triangle from the beginning for any kind of second lead syndrome to develop.

I don't even think the makers wanted any kind of love angle with Raghav. Probably the reason for the choice of actor because seriously, he is not main lead material. Main lead ka dost banne layak hi hai bas

Instead of a doctor he should have been introduced as some old college friend or an acquaintance of katha whom she was working with after the leap. They could have commiserated with each other over their unfulfilled love lives, could have occasionally slept together while Viaan went about having numerous one night stands with other women Aarav ko hostel bhej dete. Saal bhar ke leap ke baad dono ko mila dete so that instead of other people Viaan and katha could have then slept with each other. Dono mein wapas pyaar ho jaata, phir shaadi kar dete and khatam. Ho gya leap and third angle entry bhi just like stupid Sony wanted. Atleast show itna depressing to nhi hota

Makers never wanted Katha and Raghav as endgame as they never wanted to make Raghav overshadow Viaan. However, it was not the same case in case of Shiv from Balika Vadhu. They wanted Shiv to overshadow Jagdish. KaViaan were the endgame. This is the same show where after such a premise where, it felt impossible for any relation between the leads, we have leads falling in love with one another and embracing each other. That tells loads about the powers makers. I wanted to see what they had in store instead of rioting.

Let me tell you a sad truth - Viaan's memories were indeed making lives of Katha and Aarav hell which is evident from flashbacks and the episodes as well. Aarav's condition had no improvement for 5 months and Viaan's memories made his condition even worse. So, they had to eventually move on in the life and forget Viaan atleast, by moving on, I don't mean to say marry a new man but, just to move on from their past and go to a place where Viaan can't reach them nor his memories. In this case, Raghav became that option. He approached from from front (Katha didn't pick him), Aarav needs Raghav, Ruhi needs Katha and both Raghav and Katha required stability in their life and find a life partner till the end of the life so, that makes this marriage possible. More than marriage, it is an agreement/pact which they are signing for the sake of betterment of their children - the next generation. Whatever happened in their lives shouldn't affect their children. Just for the sake of ship, you can't ignore children in this equation. Then, that wil be shipping, not story. Thing is that all perspectives make sense but, Katha will always be slighly wrong.

But, they have no time to show development. Ab bs KaViaan scene de de wahi kaafi hai. Ab logic can go to hell
