pretty messed up. People should instead be condemning the hamas and the mullah countries that support them. Get the hamas to release the hostages, lay down it's arms, stop using civilian shields, stop threatening Israel's existence, stop launching rockets and sending in terrorists across the border, stop voting for hamas types.

Wearing "Palestine will be free from river to sea" tags is abominable. Israel has a right to exist. In my opinion, so does a Palestinian state. But at this stage, Israel has every right to expect safeguards and have it's security concerns addressed.

Note that population of Israel at 9+ million is less than 1/35th that of America. With the number of Israelis killed in one blow on Oct 7th, it's like the US losing 50K on 9/11, not 3K. The Americans would have nuked Pakistan and Afghanistan and Saudi Arabia out of existence if that was the scale of 9/11. We'd not be talking about any innocent civilians there.

Bottom of the crunch remains the same two wrongs do not make a right.

What's the action to be taken at the moment? Should the killings in Palestine continue right now or stop?

Killings of both Israelis and Palestinians should stop, and should have stopped eons ago. I would like to see a permanent solution to this conflict, in fact an end to it with two countries living side by side in peace, with Israel dominating the security architecture to ensure it's never again attacked the way it was. If that is not possible and cannot be guaranteed, and if all we are going to do is kick the can down the road, allowing the hamas to regroup, then sorry, I would prefer for it to go on till hamas and their support network is totally destroyed. I would like to see Israel prevail understanding fully well that civilian lives would be lost as collateral damage. For me, civilian lives are no more precious than the lives of young kids drafted into war. When you are 20, you are as innocent as anyone else...

as for Israel taking over Palestine land, that's what happens when war is inflicted on you and you win. Blame the Palestinians for electing leaders who led them down the wrong path, much like the germans in WW1 and WW2.

Isn't he being disingenuous at 0:43, whoever he is

Israel was attacked by five Arab countries, there was a war and when there's war, people are killed

More than six thousand Jews were also killed in the war.

And the people displaced - most of them left cz they were told to do so by the Arab leaders

Everybody wants to live in Israel , even the one woman who complains and says it sucks there

Her complaints are taxes and holidays. The way she's talking about taxes you'd think there's jizya like special taxes for Non Jews. No, it's the same for everybody

Life, for Arabs, is better in Israel than in most Arab countries

I'll reply to the other comments later.

Thank you for sharing thus. It's important and important for me atleast to see unity between people.

Israel is more Liberal than Arab countries. Yes there are problems between Muslim countries also.

In India Hindus and Muslims are fine with each other. I have extended family which are of the Hindu faith and we have so much affection and respect for one another. In daily living, no one differentiates in people.

It is all set up to show media. Politics. Yes there will be a few in each group that will be extremists on either side.

When it comes down to it, why people always side with and chose their own? Why can't we hope and engage to save everyone. What happend to Israelis on the 7th was not fair and whether some think it or not, But the amount of people being killed in Gaza is beyond collateral damage, it's almost like an ethnic cleansing. Any Israeli life loss within Gaza is the collateral damage. First Hamas was in the North side.. so they bombarded there, then they will chase after them and kill everyone and and destroy everything in their way like they did that British lady Sarah who was protesting for Palestine.

So many deaths then they still won't reach Hamas.

Then some will say that everything is fair in war then 7th Oct was fair?

I will say, Arabs between them selves have issues. Look at the Shia and Sunni issues. Then the Sunni and Wahabi issues. If the Arab countries got together and attacked Israel, there will be a ww for sure.

Our ideological worldview usually dictates our perception of what's right and what's wrong.

If this conflict is viewed through the lens of Israel vs. Hamas / Hezbollah / Houthis, sympathies would lie with Israel. If it's viewed through the lens of civilian casualties and forced displacement of large populations, it is but natural to feel a great empathy for the affected.

Israel will do what Israel has set out to do but for the purposes of a discussion, what is a proportionate response after October 7th according to (some of) you?
