Swastik is always known for making many Hindu devotional (won't say mythology) shows. So from the start of this show, I expected some symbolism. So, I got some for our Dewa and Tara.
This show from the start has drawn a lot of parallels between Lord Shiva and Dewa. First of all, he is a Shiv Bhakt!
He always talks about fire within him and well, Lord Shiva is himself a fire. Lord Shiva has two sides - the innocent one and the fierce one. Dewa has also two sides and we can see this in scenes where there is an interaction between grown-up Dewa and junior Dewa. Junior Dewa is naive and innocent but the grown-up Dewa has learnt the wickedness and injustice of this world. Shiv and Parvati loved each other so much but there was a separation once, and Shiva goes again to meet her by concealing his real identity. And Dewa does the same here. Lord Shiva is the reason why Parvati was able to take the role of Mahakali and here Dewa will be the reason for the fierceness of Tara. Shiva can burn anyone with his revenge and Dewa is here to burn his Chand (which is Tara) by revenge.
Now, coming to Tara - she has two roles - one as the crescent moon on Shiva's head and also as Parvati. Just like Shiva and Parvati are inseparable, she is inseparable from Dewa as they are connected with a cosmic thread. Dewa's words help her face her fear just like Parvati.
Just like how the waning and waxing of the moon are controlled by Shiva, here Tara's life will be controlled by Dewa. (Yesterday he said that her time is his time, so he will decide about wasting or using it well)
And even though the moon wanes and waxes for Lord Shiva, it also cools off his body and helps in his peaceful meditation. Even though Tara has destroyed Dewa's life, she is still his solace and a lost family for him.
This is my interpretation.
