Separation was never the issue, nor was the ONS. The senseless Move On track was and is the issue. Audience doesn't forget anything and audience is always king! It is because the elite audience left for lack of a story that the show is ending. The audience loved the Katha that was not a doormat, channel turned her into one with zero self respect. Had the channel seen more backlash against the post leap episodes instead of constant undeserved praise, they might have made necessary changes. So, IMO the blame for the axing sits on the shoulders of those little schoolgirls who drone on about post leap Katha's POV where none exists. Post leap Katha is an embarrassment and I am certain Aditi as a mature woman and a mother is very well aware of that. I wish her well and to wish her well is to wish this abomination of a show ends as fast as it possibly can.
Yes, audience is the king that's why all ITV shows are same. Audience wants kachra that's why kachra TV shows are still prevalent. Unfortunately this show came at time when OTT and webseries became the go to options and TV connections are rapidly becoming obsolete. All good audience have already moved to OTT now only kachra remains in the majority.
I don't know how many fangirls of Katha you saw, I only saw hate comments on Twitter, Instagram and here too. I was also part of that hating club. If you don't believe me, see the first few pages of this BTS thread. But, as the time passed, POVs cleared and got the intended shape, my POV also got cleared. Katha's POV does exist its just audience is blind enough to not see it.
You know I purposefully opened the thread few days back "What closure should Katha give to Viaan so that he feels satisfied" . I knew the replies already and gosh the outcome was as I intended. Many of you said the same things what was already said by Katha. I remember you gave a very rude and mean closure dialogue, even that was given in the show in different form. Katha gave a mean and rude answer to Viaan in cafe. But, despite all that many of you still said that Katha should give closure to Viaan like a parrot. The verdict at the end was no amount of closure is going to satisfy it. This means Katha did her job. I tried this exact thing on twitter and got the same result. Except people on twitter were stupid so, they got trapped in infinite loop quickly until they had no answer. Audience simply refused to accept she had given the closure and still continued to say she should give her closure. Audiences are refusing to accept Katha's perspective even if they agree on the same thing. Why?
I don't mean to say you all are idiots because, it was natural. I also arrived at the same conclusion as many of you when I decided to start that thread - There is no further closure Katha can give to Viaan than already had been given and he will never be satisfied.
I criticised till the show didn't make sense and I was on same page as you can see

This episode aired some days back...they didn't bother to make a post of it but with the off air news suddenly promoting it
But yeah I feel it is promotional tactics. How they can decide everything in a day? Very confusing.
