I am a fan of Western Classical music which pushed me to learn music composition. Although, I don't compose actively but, I learnt something important from it which is applicable here too.
You know that when you hear a music note by note, it feels odd and disoriented. Only when the full piece is realized with all notes timed correctly with the intended dynamics (how loud it should be, how long it should be held) , then only, you can judge if it was good or not. For example, listen to the piece composed by Frederic Chopin
Intended Interpretation of this piece

Same interpretation when slowed down

Slowed down version feels random and disoriented and conveys a different emotion compared to the original interpretation.
These actors are nothing but, those notes in slowed down version. They are doing their job aimlessly but, the composer can see the entire picture. If you ask one of the notes in the slowed down version, they will say our composer has gone mad and composing this abomination. Similarly, actors don't see the whole picture. They only see the surroundings and certainly surroundings aren't good. So, they will complain. We as an audience have more clear picture than actors.
For example, The show begins with Viaan sexually harassing Katha. Till that episode, Viaan is wrong and what the makers are trying to show is pathetic - trying to glorify sexual harrassment and writing a love story between harasser and abuser. Aditi said that she got a lot of backlash those days as well that she can't be togather with the person who forced you to sleep with him.
But, when you see the entire show with everything oriented, you realize it is much more than that and this show didn't glorify anything wrong. Viaan was always portrayed as a criminal regardless of his apology and repentence.
If Frederic Chopin left this piece because during the composition, he found it to be too pitchy and didn't go with his conviction, this beautiful piece would never have existed. I learned this piece and I can tell you, it is not one of those piece which you can nail by sitting on bench for 2 minutes. It took me a month to learn. It would have taken more than that to compose it and then the composer had to learn it as well because radios were not present in 1800s, so composer had to present the piece to the audience as well. Till the piece was composed, this piece was nothing but, random array of notes with no common aim.
