The goons chasing the girl and hero coming to save her isn't new. These scenes are there in most shows. Gul shows specifically have such scenes.

I've not seen Yhc so cannot say but all ITV scenes have these cliches. What eventually matters is the execution. I love Sai performing action scenes. He does those really well so the scene turned out looking good.

Why the hell is Nyonika snooping around in Agastya ka room?? Why the hell did Agastya keep the divorce papers in an open drawer where anyone or Sonali can see.

I hate the fact that Nyonika will try to drive a wedge between Agastya and Imlie. Why is Nyonika sitting among the family making the flower garland. Why can't she go back home? She can proposition him but he will never take another woman while he's married. If Nyonika shows the divorce papers to the family he can say that he didn't make those. I don't think those are signed papers.

Amrit came back and saw Imlie. Where is Sonali when she needs to keep her husband in line, dekh ke chali gayi. Idiot thinks Imlie married Agastya to be close to him. He's misbehaving with Imlie. I hope Agastya sees them and gives him a piece of his mind. Imlie should some noise the next time he tries to touch her. Such people should be publicly shamed only then they will learn a lesson.

So happy to see Agastya take such good care of Imlie. He promised her he will keep her safe and won't ever leave her. Imlie questioned him that he will leave her after 6 months and then she'll be all alone. For the first time, someone cried for her. Girl was so moved. Agastya has learnt his lesson and won't ever talk badly to Imlie. He specifically saw how scared she was for her safety. He knows she's not going to let any man touch her inappropriately.

Chintamani is back due to Sonali. I don't understand why Dadi is being nice to them after the tamasha he did last time with Agastya.

You know the more I watch this the more I think the show should be renamed as Imlie aur Agastya. Yes there is Imlie’s story to tell however there is so much to Agastya as a character, he’s not just the male lead to balance things out, he has a huge story of his own too and yes lots of lessons to learn.

I am kind of tied up with work today. So a short review only from me.

I loved the way Imlie told Agastya what all happened to her. Agastya could see how badly shaken Imlie was during the ordeal. And Agastya has promised to take care of Imlie. I hope whatever he does or not, he won't call her a bar girl and a characterless girl henceforth.

I totally hated Nyonika still walking around Chaudary mansion. Arey what kind of parents are Johari's ? Did they not try to find out where their daughter is all this time? I am hating that Nyonika saw the divorce papers. She had no right to snoop around Agastya's drawer touching his personal things. I guess now Nyonika will have some hope that the marriage will fail and then she can ensnare Agastya back. Babe the ship is long sailed. Even if Agastya and Imlie go their separate ways due to whatever Agastya is never going to come back to you. Is it me or was Agastya a little more curt than what was needed with Ms. Johari. I loved the way Agastya cut Nyonika out and told her not to talk about past things. It is high time Nyonika goes back to her sasural.

I thought Sonali will be stern with Amrit now that the truth of his nature is out but nope Sonali is still busy in dethroning Agastya rather than taking her husband to task. In that case Amrit would get a free pass to trouble Imlie. Sonali can not divulge the truth of Imlie being a bar singer so she got Chintamani family to the function. Just when I feel a little sympathetic for Sonali, she goes ahead and does these kind of stupid things. She needs to kick the jeeja out of the house but nope even after knowing his lusty nature she is allowing him unrestricted freedom in her house. In short she is enabling him just to maintain the appearance of happy marriage.

Imlie is stuck badly in the house now that jeeja is back and Nyonika kind of knows the partial truth of Imlie - Agastya planning on divorcing. I think Imlie would think of telling the truth of Jeeja to Agastya but right then the past of Agastya would be out and depending on how Agastya views his mother - as a victim or as an ensnarer, Imlie might be forced to be silent. I guess some part of Agastya might think that his mother willingly ensnared a much married person and that all bar singers do that thing only. That might explain to Imlie his deeply set prejudices against bar singers. So maybe Imlie might not tell Agastya Jeeja ka truth as she thinks maybe Agastya might think the same about her too. So I guess we are going into a web of misunderstandings as each is not going to tell the other what they think and feel. Whatever it is, I really hope there is not too much of emotional and physical assault shown on Imlie. It is horrible viewing experience and I don't like these things to be shown in guise of entertainment.

You know this is always with Gul ke shows. The male leads are equally important and are not a wallpaper standing in the background while the female lead does everything.

Sai is lucky to have such a strong character in Imlie. With a proper back story, a character arc, scope for performance, great dynamics with all different characters. And Sai is anyway born to shine 🍉

when in reality their marriage alliance was an arranged one. Did Agastya ever tell her that he loves and want to marry her in past. Nope Never. So why she is still harboring marriage dreams with him. Poor characterisation I would say. Even after 6 months contract marriage gets over, Agasthya is still going to run behind Imlie only

Sonali ka I feel she will not reveal jija infidelity truth to family to maybe not hurt her mother. Her mother marriage was a failure and now hers too. No mother wants the same misfortune occurring with their Daughter that has occurred to them. But hiding jeeja truth will enable him to torture Imlie more .Waise we haven't still gotten any private scene of jeeja and Sonali after he has returned home to observe how Sonali behaves with him . Will she ignore him or maintain the happy wife facade like before.

bold: One of the best performances of Sai. His expressions and body language was literally perfect. It portrayed the vulnerability and helplessness that Agastya felt at not able to reduce the pain and trauma that Imlie was suffering in the moment
