Finally the episode uploaded. I see your point Ren but my understanding is a little different. I liked 2 things that Agastya did today.
1. When Mrs. Chintamani started mudslinging on Agastya and Nyonika, he first told Jugs to take all the small girls out from the room as he cared for what they hear. That was nicely done. Yes this was good of him to do. I hate in tv shows where kids are made to hear adult topics. Glad they got the kids out of the way before they discussed Nyonika ka sex life in detail
2. All this time we thought that Agastya did not knew about the abortion truth. He just knew that Sonali was manipulating Nyonika and he did not want to be a puppet so he did not marry Nyonika. But guess what he knew the whole truth. Of abortion and of how Sonali was manipulating Nyonika. See Agastya did not want anyone to point fingers at Nyonika so he told only half the truth to justify him leaving Nyonika at the altar. But when everyone was pointing fingers at his family and his Dadi was asking him to answer he had to tell them what he knew and when he knew. See even if he says I don't know what you are talking about then Mrs. Chintamani would not have left the topic. So I get where Agastya was coming from and why he had divulge the information. And I am really glad that he asked Nyonika once before he told the truth. He kept silent for some time but he had to speak to clear his name. See I get what you are saying. They did show him wait for an extremely long amount of time before he spoke to clarify. He even informed Nyonika before doing that. However, it left a bad taste because of how Nyonika was treated later by the family/ everyone. It's not something that you can proudly talk of and ofcourse Nyonika wanted to hide this truth and rightly so. I don't want to say outright that Agastya did wrong but I wish the creatives didn't indulge in such detailed mudslinging as it was not required. It's Nyonika ki life whatever she makes out of it. She shouldn't have to answer anyone other than her parents. I wish Agastya wasn't involved in this mess as he had literally nothing to do with it.
For someone like Agastya who has been always called najayaz day in day out, he is utmost careful not to ever land a girl in that situation. So when the allegations came on him, he had to clear them off. He couldn't stay back and allow the gossipmongers to talk more. Yes I see why he would want to clarify his name from his mess. Being a man doesn't mean his reputation doesn't matter so it's fine. I wish it was not done publicly like that. You know how I feel about discussing such private matters before the whole world. Totally unnecessary. That Mrs. Chintamani should not have come back because all this couple does is poke their nose in others' matters which literally has nothing to do with them.
So I feel there will be no consummation here until Agastya and Imlie really fall in love and are married for keeps. He is not going to have a one night stand with Imlie or cross his boundaries with her. Yes I don't want a consummation track till they fall in love and marry legally with full consent. Agastya always has been respectful of Imlie 's personal space and won't cross his limits for sure. Imlie won't consummate till she knows she's his legal wife.
I guess this all was a setup to build the stage for Sonali to disclose the truth of Agastya's parentage. So they had to get this truth out and then there is this discussion of who is at wrong and why society always puts the blame on the woman. Now Sonali will disclose the parentage of Agastya in tomorrow's episode. Yeah this makes sense as to why the illegitimate truth will be out. The way Imlie stood for Nyonika she will stand for Agastya as well..she should make Alka and Sonali realise that they are keeping their grudge on a wrong person, someone who was a victim as well. The name calling by Sonali to Agastya must prick him so much.
Otherwise there is no reason why Sonali will suddenly talk about Agastya's illegitimate birth na. So chalo let's see what's next.
Also I feel Nyonika is going to be out of the show. The way Nyonika put the divorce papers back and did not disclose anything I feel the character is going to be written off until they need to get her back as a 3rd angle after Agastya - Imlie separation. I hope she's packed for good..I dont wish to see third angle at all, bhale hi separation ho na ho. There's no reason to show a third angle. Glad they showed her being ok with Imlie after seeing she's a nice person to stand against her whole family for her.
Imlie promoting Daawat rice - Looks like PH is getting good moolah for promotions. Kafi elaborate ad tha. Hopefully good money so they can also give chutti to Sai for Diwali.
I just want the man to get a day off now bas.
