Genderless dosti lives onsmiley36

Seeing the absolute third class trash that this season of BB contestants are, Priyankit are coming out looking like total angels even more so now.....lol even the Priyanka that so many people bashed handled herself way better than the current season's female contestants are doing.....all behaving like jaahil gawaars now.

The end where LG is talking about survival of the fittest and how it plays out vis a vis the Orakas was done so amazingly well. It hits you on so many levels, it makes you retrospect and shows us a mirror. The way they ended the show just highlights the understated and subtle tone of the show. Leaves you with so many questions but does not make a commentary or judgement on who is right or wrong. As a viewer you can clearly see how the choices that each individual makes impacts and changes the course of lives of so many people.

The writing, castingsmiley32, direction was top notch. The sheer beauty of the Islands and its waterhad such a calming impact, that lullaby❤️.

The one character that I absolutely hated was the dad, the choices he made every damn time where somehow worse than the previous one!! Jyotsana- Veenu was smiley28

I actually found that line so ironic from the LGsmiley36.....such a sense of hubris with the presumption that the so called "civilized" humans are the ones CHANGING to evolve in order to survive while presuming the Orakas are just sitting ducks.....lol not a thought spared for the fact that it is the Orakas who have survived longer on these islands than the city peoplesmiley36

I just finished watching the series yesterday too and I feel the series mainly picked up from epi 3....after that I was gripped enough to binge-watch it. In the post Covid world, watching a series about an epidemic can feel like deja vu and also predictable in some ways but this series went beyond just focusing on the illness or the cure and instead became a more reflective human story before anything else.

I did feel Priyanshu was wasted in yet another role.....the guy just can't catch a break....they gave him a random role which didn't have much of an arc in the series and he was gaayab for most of it....lol they also killed off Mona Singh in the first epi only and anyone could have played her role since they didn't let her impact the overall story that much.

Jyotsana wala angle I found tiresome in bits....just I was warming up to her arc, it got dumb in the end again with that Kaddu ka father choking her to death....lol like seriously Jyotsana thought a father that desperate who had already lost the rest of his family will calmly agree to not let his daughter go on that boat? Reason and logic had left the platform a long time back.

Orakas and Chiru wala angle actually got the most emotional depth....casting was very good too and I was amazed they made the effort to cast African actors and give them dignified roles than stereotype them with caricatures as they do in Indian movies/shows.

Overall the show was a reflective study on nature and evolution.....every character in the story evolved for the better or worse and struggled to survive on their own levels.

One surprising arc for me was that of Kadam....lol his only act of goodness in the very end to let that Ritu go and then him having a meltdown that did he randomly fall in love now of all times?smiley37.....and that Ritu wala angle also left so open ended and vague about whether they will even find the plant to make the cure....lol was kinda frustrating for me and I wanted a bit more clarity on that.

Orakas ka arc was the best one....loved how they outsmarted those people in the end.

word!! Which is why i didn't added anything else caz bhai toh first epi ke baad gayab hi ho gaya bas ek random voice note..they never showed us where he was stuck surely can't be out of island? Since the whole thing was koi aa nahi sakta jaa nahi sakta but kahan kis planet pe tha the whole time and unaware of the epidemic too in a sense..it sure did feel watsed overall. Mma ko bhi chodme gaya for a random lovestory while jyotsana i liked fot most part trying to redeem herself gets the guilt of her shoulder by saving and protecting the kids but the lovestpry just didn't come through or made me feel anything so i was like ok 🤷🏻‍♀️ i didn't wanted her to die but as you said she showed her lack of brains then didn't even tried to favtor in the father's wmotions goven how he was unable to even say proper Goodbyes to his loved ones too he felt absolute failure in protecting in doing anything woh ab yeh jaanke ke she won't be there for too long too ko bas aise ho chod de and pick separation again caz that meant being separating again nope

About the plant I think they left it open in case they renew and make a season 2 but lol yeah woh ritual and kadam were funny and kadam for sure was as I said earlier the most well written character along with chiru and orakas. I have not seen the Ctor playing chiru before but he was just brilliant the whole reveal of identity the way it shook him.and he then realized his mistakes and tried to make amends it really came across in the most genuine way

Yup the trailer looks really good and Vicky Is exceptional but what the heck is Fatima doing..she doesn't look or sound the part ek dum ajeeb si paggal si lag rahi and her voice is so bad the wig is horrendous..

Oh sorry I missed your earlier post about Kadam cuz I was trying to skip spoilers smiley36.....but yes, word at Kadam getting so many layers and quirks in the story.....all his scenes kept you guessing about who he is playing and how....lol I almost kinda fell for his sob story initially that he was unfairly framed and transferred but then when the ATOM people got caught in the containers, I figured out it was his plansmiley36.....amazing one liners he got and the way he justified his actions and reasonings....very well written and enacted.

Re: Chiru....oh I thought I will ask you if he is some actor from South movies cuz he deffo didn't look like a newbie.....did an amaaaazing job of his role. I even liked the acting of the guy who played his smuggler friend who helps awaken his conscience to not swindle desperate parents just trying to get back to their kids.....the way the despair in the story is built up in the face of so much tragedy and loss of life, the choices posed in front of different characters from time to time.....really good writing.

Re: PJ bhaiyya....lol the guy just can't catch a break....I keep thinking each time I watch him that he's so affable and clearly a good actor but iske liye koi badaa role kyun nahin likhta koi? Jyotsna-Veenu mostly ended up pointless only cuz the chick was too dumb most of the time.....lol mujhe toh yeh bhi kaafi stupid lagaa ki bunker se 2 log chale bhi gaye and yeh madam bas soti reh gayismiley5smiley36

But I liked the role of Chiru's mom a too.....man that story really breaks your heart and then the way that Oraka song travels through so many characters....truly immortal song.

Yep, Vicky is just SUPERB in this.....but Fatima is looking quite underwhelming as Indira Gandhismiley36. Sanya is gonna end up doing better than her as usual I feelsmiley36

Same but good catch on the senior officer too that he was bluffing and actually helping the atom people..and this is exactly what i was saying too it became a favorite character caz they had balanced his grey so well i mean i still refuse to beleive that it was completly his selfish reasons i do feel.he did had somr achaai in between where he was playing the bluff and he found a way to help both sides bmatlab double dholki tha but he made his way and that really makes you appreciate even the bad/evil characters caz he wasn't just bad or grey for tbe heck of it ke we have to insert one bad character way main..I totally fell for his stories too

Well Imdb says this guy has worked in Kapoor and sons and s9me other films where I do not remember him Kapoor and sons being the most big ones but abhi yaad nahi hai his voice did sound familiar to me but aise yaad nahi aaya kuch work but yeah he was just such a revelation the graph and range he showed as an actor and as a character was brilliant and haan iska woh silent friend jab bola toh kya hi bola👏

Re: PJ bhaiyya....lol the guy just can't catch a break....I keep thinking each time I watch him that he's so affable and clearly a good actor but iske liye koi badaa role kyun nahin likhta koi? Wohi it is a shame that you do get fast in such a big and brilliant project overall but still the sundari cat has a bigger role than him.. they just didn't had enough investement in the lovestory to make us feel anythib the whole iss baar time se aana der na karna never made me even flinch too or notice that was gow hollow it rang caz wd do not really know last time kya kaise but randonly keh dia ke they couldn't express as kids if ine has to make a story out of childhood friends ya kuch toh woh investment karni padti hai in the characters even in web..format chota ho but kuch ho toh sahi for oen to feel for the tragedy..they felt way more platonic classfellows to ne than any kind if love or feeling bad esp for this only the lack if a principal character and then jyotsana also not having really love as priority for the most part and yeah the woman had no reaction to uncle jo gone too along with gucchu

But I liked the role of Chiru's mom a too.....man that story really breaks your heart and then the way that Oraka song travels through so many characters....truly immortal song.

The mom was such a nice character too just that empathy she had shown over time makes you respect her so much . Oh waise woh brother kehne wala character was sweet too
