Arjun had like 2 or 3 expressions throughout the show...don't know why the makers did that with his character....

Yuvika's relationship with kartik is more like a arranged marriage instead of any emotional and sexual pull. Karvika may have liked (not loved) each other intially and got together thinking they are compatible, and also approved by prem. Their relationship was untested in the small world of rishikesh.

Since then, yuvika's life has transformed and in this transformation it's Neil who supported her. Infact, before committing to each other, neivika is going through all sort of emotions, from attraction, affection, awkwardness, fight, then getting back, and ultimately supporting each other.

The kind of girl yuvika is, she need someone like Neil who is practical, smart and kind, who gives her reality check as well as encourage and support her decisions. Unlike kartik, who just keeps on guilt tripping her, pull her down or distract her from her goal.
