Come to think of it, they recently woke up to the Israel-Palestine conflict/war, even though they claim the "atrocities" being committed by the Israelis are going on for decades if not centuries! Not a single thread, not even a peep on these forums before last month on the sad state of "apartheid".

Set aside the deportation of Afghans for a minute, why are there no bleeding hearts discussing Sunni Shia schism, the rise of fundamentalists on both sides and the sectarian wars which have taken place in the 21st century including gulf wars and the long running civil war in Syria? Why are there no bleeding hearts on persecutions and killings of the Muslim Rohingya people by the military of Myanmar? Why are there no bleeding hearts with weeping emojis on how homosexuals are still being executed in Muslim majority nations like Iran, Syria, and Saudi Arabia, in accordance with the Sharia law? Well, where are the identity politics in that?! Politicking जोश comes only in discussing how a Muslim gangster's home is bulldozed in UP by Hindu "fundamentalists".
