Overpraise for Himachali Nidhi whilst some limited contestants...

Ranveer is just praising Nidhi way too much who is just sticking to Himachali food. She's a good cook but just sticking to Himachali roots. Similar issue for other contestants.


Also, majority of the contestants are just sooo limited. No variation whatsoever. An overnight cooking competition which is so pakau, man.

She is making a regular poori with stuffed pickle masala. Ranveer literally spoon fed her still she ignored his advise. Need to see how it turns out.

As usual Ranveer talks a lot. Sniffs a lot. Either he has blocked nose issue or the food does not emit any smell because it is cold or whatever.

When she said she was making a bhatura, I almost fainted. A bhatura?? Really? On Masterchef?


they were criticizing Kritis decision of focaccia but bhatura seemed ok to them. Seriously the judges have lost it.


She’s stuck to making known flavours with zero experiments. By that logic all our mums and many of us can participate in Masterchef and be praised to the stars.

She messed up on the makhaanas also. Presentation wasn't good also.

No Ranveer did say in yesterday's episode itself - a bhatura? Here? And she commented that she was making a stuffed bhatura. He didn't say anything but his face clearly read "you've got to be kidding me".


I think even judges have accepted that this season is a season of no logic.

Gosh that bhatura was quite strange. So thick!!! I wouldn’t be able to eat that. Also mistakes like the curdling of yoghurt in the madra and soggy Makhanas are not something expected at this level.

The yoghurt of the madra is cooked with rice flour. Adding flour to yoghurt helps prevent curdling. She must’ve don’t something really wrong for it to curdle. Makes me think she’s just a flash in the pan!

I was wondering if I should apply next year seeing the overnight episode. I mean if the standard is so low and they are only starting what can we expect going forward? I am not a baker. I can follow a recipe and I have made over night focaccia. That is literally a dump all shove it in the fridge and it’ll be ready for prep next day.

Just because dosa is not native to the contestant who made the batter it was praised a lot. Had it been made by Harry or Kenny they would have said meh, u can do better.

Is madra something like a lighter version of kadhi pakora or something similar? Asking because Kadhi is always made with a roux of besan mixed to buttermilk and thinned out. I see instead of pakora, makhana is added & besan swapped with rice flour

Making flatbread is tricky using a non gluten based flour. In this Nidhi tried a bhatura. Either she knows that Ranveer will push her to more episodes or she is really dumb to do such sloppy cooking. Either ways that was 2 dumb episodes.
