SA is in SF for all practical purpose they have very high NRR, negligible chances that they will be out on NRR and with 10 points they won't have more than 3 teams with more points, it's only formalities for them

Aus and NZ need one win, so practically Pak needs either of them to lose all matches with good margin and Pak wins theirs with good margin

NZ is an easy bet since Pak has one match with them where they can beat with big margin thereby settling NRR issue Aside any match of theirs washed out against easy opponents will help Pak.

Oh nice, what was the book about that u were so engrossed n finished it too?

Beautiful book. Written from POV of a Afgan refugee guy who remembers his childhood servant/friend in his hometown

It covers so many things together, the refugee issue, Taliban problem, male s**ual abuse, bacchabaazi, Shia Sunni conflict and not even once getting political. Like everything from a lay man's perspective

That servant was actually the son of their old servant and helped them a bit

He was from Hazara community so always mocked upon. Hero and him were of same age so they often played together. Once he was attacked by some bullies who did a s**ual assault on the servant and he didn't do anything to help, post this the boy became quiet and never responded much.

Later hero and his father escaped and started living in America where his father said that that boy was actually his half brother, as the father had made relationship with his servant's wife.

Hero returns years later when he gets to know that servant was dead and has left behind a son. He decided to protect the kid but he got abducted and became a bacchabaazi dancer in Taliban chief's house.

He somehow got the child back but by then he had lost his childish innocence, in US too their community disliked a Hazaara here

I don't remember everything read it 7-8 years back but it was so beautifully explained
