The 23rd oct episode has imlie finding the dadimaa bangle in her hand being put by her sister to frame her as thief. But will any girl will be as foolish to show her wrist having bangle of dadi maa.? It is like despite being innocent she wants to be framed. Or will a sane girl remove it and say she found it somewhere .

Such immature writing. Or else the cast is terrific.

Sharada and I discussed this in Agastya AT as well. It seemed like a foolish move for sure. While watching the episode when Imlie was smart to realise that Bulbul was framing her as a thief, I expected her to throw the kada down and return it that way.

It was quite lame. Makers are giving reasons to Agastya to blame her/ call her a their/ greedy/ gold digger and then eventually feel the guilt when the truth is out.

I agree with you, can't find a fault in the cast/ actors.

Your point is valid, but I think even if Imlie^3 pretended to pick up the bracelet from the floor, Gattu would assume that she stole it.

The scene gave us another taste of Gattu's prejudice against poor people, as he argued that Imlie^3 wouldn't need to steal because she's rich. As if rich people don't cheat their employees, dine and dash, shoplift and claim kleptomania, smuggle, cheat on their taxes etc. In Gattu's mind, being poor is a sin tantamount to thievery.

Imlie^3 displayed quick thinking with her magic trick, and the family was kind enough to let her pretend that the spoon in the napkin had disappeared, without unfolding the napkin to prove it.

maybe she just wants to be honest with Augusts grandmother ..yes she’s doing fake marriage as she needed the money but otherwise I think she tries to be a good honest person

No one denies that Imlie^3 tries to be a good and honest person. AliaBhatt's point is that Imlie^3 could have been discreet as well as honest.

Just as Imlie^3 chose not to tell everyone that it was Bulbul who clasped the bracelet onto her arm, because that would have exposed Bulbul as a thief, Imlie^3 could also have chosen not to show everyone the bracelet on her arm. Imlie^3 could have discreetly taken off the bracelet and then told everyone that she found it.

Annapurna showed her passive-aggressive side with Imlie^3, saying that whatever she owns is for her children and grandchildren ... if Imlie^3 wanted the heirloom bracelet, she could have asked for it instead of stealing ... Annapurna pretends to be generous because Gattu's wife is supposedly rich. Six years ago, when it was Dhanaraj who eloped and his wife was poor, Annapurna shut the door in their faces.
