Without using Google, what do you think is the most impactful movie from the past ten years or so? The kind that's left a real mark and you see it on people around you, or the whole Bollywood.

I'd say it is "Gangs of Wasseypur".It keeps giving birth to these countless movies and series with similar vibes. It feels like every other week there's a new show or movie with those familiar themes and settings. And eveyrone, from the janitor at our work place to high school kids and even people at my gym knows about it. One of my friends who's not even a big movie buff knows a few dialogues from it. I think it even scored a place on some "best movies of all time" list worldwide a few years back. That's remarkable.

What's your pick for the standout movie of the last 13 years?

I don't know about "game-changing", but it definitely was an impactful 2-parts movie and has become cult for all the right reasons.

Anurag has produced two other movies I would call game-changing: The Lunchbox and Queen.

Is this movie in any way related to Gangs of New York?

I watched GOW in one sitting. Both films like 5 and half hours.

I think it’s War, this movie created the spy universe idea in Aditya Chopra’s mind.

Other ones are Bahubali and KGF series, without any doubt the game changers in the box office.

I think Bahubali as it increased Bollywood fans’ affinity for South Indian cinema and a new wave of love for South indian actors and actresses gripped the country.

Also Bajirao Mastani and Padmavat as they re-affirmed India’s love for historical films and grander than life cinema. After disasters like Mohenjo daro we needed some good historical movies.

1) Bahubhali - because it made hindi movies more famous

2) Bajiroa Mastani - started historical movies trend

3) Gangs of Waseepur - realistic movies
