The Old Authoritative Bigg Boss Needs to Come Back

I strongly dislike the new format of the show. It was introduced last season I think, and it was so off-putting that I stopped watching after just a few episodes. I've been a dedicated follower of BiggBoss for the past 5-6 seasons, but this change has really diminished its appeal.

BiggBoss now intervenes in conversations, making trite remarks, adopting a more casual tone with the contestants, and it's eroding his authority. He doesn't exude the same power he once did. It feels like a different show altogether.

I haven't come across anyone who actually enjoys this alteration, also that morning anthem – it's just the most annoying thing ever. Simply witnessing it in the first few minutes of the show is enough for me to consider switching it off. If this continues, the makers should brace themselves for the potential downfall of BiggBoss.

Bring the old authoritative BiggBoss and the morning songs back.

i actually agree with that. contestants dont fear bigg boss much at all.

they even want the bashing from him so they can show how cornered and alone they are.

Truly agree. I feel BB’s interference in small things related to the game dilutes his importance. BB used to speak in shudh Hindi and urges contestants to do the same.

Now he has become so casual since last 2-3 seasons. Earlier there used to be tasks every week. Like proper task. That torture task every season used to be hit. Now it is just naming co contestants and talk what annoys them about them.

I even used to like those confession room nominations. When the final names were announced, it used to be surprise to all contestants. They stopped this many many years ago

True. The show used to be actually fun when BB didn’t interfere unless absolutely necessary, he just used to give important instructions, keep them in check if things got out of hand and just sit back and relax! Now he interferes in each and every damn thing, I mean let the contestants play ffs! And then you expect them to play “themselves” while simultaneously forcing them to play a certain way. No wonder the contestants would be confused all the time. His unnecessary taunts and jibes are also not cool all the time, ek hadd tak theek hai and funny bhi hai, but it can seriously demotivate contestants, who even came up with such a pathetic concept And gosh don’t even get me started on that gawd awful anthem!

I am hating BB voice which used to be most loved by contestants as well as viewers 2-3 seasons before ☹️

The OG format still exists in the OTT version, if you watch BBOTT 2, it's the same as before with BB only speaking during announcements or anything important & morning songs.

But their choice of songs played in the OTT version made me realize BB don't wanna spend much in buying the rights [they played 'Laila' 5 times in various occasions ]. Anthem is jus a cheap way out.
