Exactly. All that has happened can create a lot of bitterness and resentment in any human. Viaan would be well justified if he felt a sense of detachment and betrayal and not so fatherly anymore. All that unwavering love and support he showed to Aarav even when he didn't know he was Katha's son, just to be so easily replaced and forgotten in his life. If it happened once, it can happen again and then again. Only because he is not his biological father. They've just shown that blood is thicker than water and blood relations will always trump the bonds of love and heart no matter what the other person does. Viaan deserves his own child then. What if Katha Viaan gets into argument after marriage then brat son might decide to initiate divorce. So Viaan should clear every doubt before reunion.

What's this? Cohabitation before marriage? How progressive

One would think a mother whose only child was allegedly left traumatised by the man she was going to marry would be more cautious about letting another man develop such closeness with her son. She would draw more boundaries in fear of things going awry again. What if things don't work out again? How will that affect my son? This would be a constant worry in the mind of someone who has been bitten once. And look at things here. Total opposite. Instead of emotionally stabilising Aarav and making him inherently mentally strong again, this doctor is being allowed to be used as a crutch. Like someone who is indispensable for the mental wellbeing of Aarav without whom he would just crumble. How smart.
