Mine was watching her in KKHH in the theatre and getting mesmerized by her charm

My very first memory of her would be her cameo in "Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham." But the first full movie I watched of hers was "Chalte Chalte." We had a DVD of it and used to play it almost every day, probably because we didn't have many DVDs , so we'd just watch anything for the fun of it. That title song from the movie became a family favorite.

She's done some great work after the 2010s, but I guess I'm more of a fan of her pre-2010 stuff. I absolutely loved "Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna," "Laaga Chunari Mein Daag," "Tara Rum Pum," "Bunty Aur Babli" , "Hum Tum" etc more than her recent work. Weird.

May she continue to work for 27 more years and bless us with more fantastic movies. 🥂
