That dowry scene in ishq murshid was cringe . Why would dure’s character be so involved in her friend’s marriage , if it was her sister that would be understandable but a friend feels like crossing a boundary. That just seemed unrealistic that she called that guy useless , basically threatened his dad yet he happily married the friend.

So far I’m finding these situations forced to make Shibra seem like this out of the world girl . And dure is too bad of an actor to sell it anyways

Yes zgh era was different..that's one.of the reason I had started watching Pak dramas..the characters dressing, surroundings were kept real as per the situation. It was not a mismatch unlike our Indian dramas.

That entire scene of a daughter of an accused govt employee giving preachy lectures to investigation officers was such an ott scene.
