Going by Shibra's house, it's a government quarter and her father got promoted to a higher position also I think..some finance..missed it...so salary bhi achhi hogi..so ya upper middle class...
Yes zgh era was different..that's one.of the reason I had started watching Pak dramas..the characters dressing, surroundings were kept real as per the situation. It was not a mismatch unlike our Indian dramas.
Usage of 'Nalayak' word once was fine..I guess if I am not wrong she said twice...I skipped few scenes again in episode 2...🙁
If a government quarters look that good then her father is in a very high post. Maybe a gazetted officer.
I agree on Zgh. I also started watching pak dramas because of ots realistic touch. But nowadays it's missing. After so long KA is the only drama that made me feel like old pak dramas.
She kept repeating nalayak multiple times and it was irritating. How can a director like faruq rind let that slide?. Also due to her love for preaching and lecturing what if the guy's father refused for the marriage and walked out? She literally created a scene there and insulted the father. Isn't her friend rich? 25lac car is not a big deal for a rich household and that marriage from nowhere looked like they spend a fortune on it. I highly doubt rich people will be openly talking about dowry in front of so many people so that irritating people like shibra can poke their head and create a scene. Rich people don't ask for dowry. It's mostly properties and business shares and all. Not tv, mixer, washing machine and car. Kaha ka rich people hai yeh? Such do takke ke middle class rich people
I saw in one of the teasers where shahmeer kidnaps his friend and ties him up. Seems like the friendship won't last long.
