what happens today

sorry, this is going to be very short:

it begins with more sentimental kavya thoughts on anjali and yug being together. and as he watches them having fun, he thinks that he should be doing something nice for pammi. so he takes her to have some fun. kavya's brain is coming back?

disha is shopping for some jewellry and buys a locket. shlok completely disapproves of it. disha buys it, instantly turns around and gifts it to him. he makes a ick-face. but refuses to give it back to disha who offers to return it.

kavya and pammi at breakfast. both decide they want fruit, which kavya goes to get. nitya comes around to taunt pammi about how she "suddenly" got pregnant as soon as anjali's child-to-be's DNA test report came out. pammi gives back as good a shot by talking about vayu's resemblence to nitya.

(i just remembered that pammi and kavya were at the same mba school together. she might actually be a smart cookie, putting up a dumb front to fool nitya. she might actually end up being a better adversary for nitya than anjali, because she is as sly as nitya?)

romilla's looking for some indian music at the open-air restaurant. but the maitre'd turns down her request. romilla is quite crushed. disha comes to the restaurant to find that her gift locket is hanging around shlok's neck. they both smile happily at each other.

anjali and yug sharing ice-cream together - missed the conversation though.

the maitre'd asks romilla to perform an indian song for the audience. romilla rocks the floor and the rest of the nanda clan have fun with it. except for nitya who looks worried, and then runs off to meet a suitably mean hitman like person. i missed who she is setting up to hurt.

and then she runs into vayu with whom she shares some very non-mother-son-love conversations!

then, in the sweetest encounter in this episode 😛 kavya and yug run into each other and have breakfast alone. they start with giving each other confrontational but civilised manly looks. at the breakfast table - where they are alone on the terrace - they find that they have the same taste in coffee. the waitress notices the similarity in taste and asks: brothers? yug says: no, brothers-in-law.

then yug sets his jaw manfully and starts a painful conversation with kavya: he and pammi haven't been together. but she is his sister and he does care about her happiness. and today, he has got his family around him and he wants them all to be happy. and... kavya cuts him short here and continues: and today, pammi's happiness lies with him, kavya. just like anjali's happiness lies with yug today. he had a shot at making anjali happy, but he couldn't. and he knows that anjali is getting what he missed giving her, from yug. he will work hard to give pammi all the happiness that she deserves and desires.

the two manly men look each other in the eye and are pleased with the other. the waitress comes back and asks them for their order. yug and kavya give each other broad grins and say together, in one voice: mashed potatoes and eggs!!!

i don't know about the rest of you, but that scene rocked my boat! 😆 i love it when people - especially good guys - becomes buddies. this beat all scenes in kavyanjali for me! 😆 -esther

anjali told kavya to make pammi happy so he's doing that now.....if anjali tells him to jump of a bridge will he do that do😕😆

Thanks for the prompt update! Wasnt brief, you managed to cover the jist of it, I guess. Wow, hmm some serious bonding going on at all fronts, is nice and mature of people. However, the story still doesnt seem to have moved an inch! Where are we going with this, get the feeling tomorrow's going to end with some seriously exciting stuff as all thurdays do and then theres going to be an entire week of dragging it till next thursday. BTW why havnt the Nanda's met Ruhina's inlaws, isnt that what theyre there for?? Questions, questions.. I shall end with; maybe the Yug/Kavya scene was to envoke interaction between the two so that they understand each others situation and in the end one of them gets to be more of a gentleman (im guessing Yug) by giving their lady love a chance to choose her path in life once Pammi and Nitya are exposed..

PS Guess Ekta does have money to burn, making epi's go just as slow in HK as well!

well, i thought that the one single line which defined the way kavyanjali was going was in yesterday's (tuesday) episode. when yug looked at anjali and said: "whatever you like, you will always get that."

i thought this meant: yug will always give anjali whatever she likes. always. no matter what it costs him. and because he will give it with all his heart, it will not hurt him.

i hope that this story gives a nice nice nice life forever for yug. -esther

😊 dont worry if there are less of KA scenes. everyone is in ignorance. there are still more to come like pammi and niti's truth, vayu in HK, anjali's delivery. kav & yug they act like mature ppl and will b helpful in future.
