i dont think they are making dharam's character weak...i think he is an emotional boy but he cant think beyond his dad, veer, and paramparas sagars have shown his character like this from the beginning Its normal for any rajkumar or other human being to behave like this most of us can feel for poors we can help them by giving them clothes and food but we cant fight for them...dharam is not a massiah so he cant think like a massiah
