Well, yes! Unlike post 2000s, the then superstars used to release 4,5 movies a year and sometimes all of them run simultaneously for months in the theaters. In fact I am sure it was done even during the Dev-Dilip-Raj trinity’s time but cannot confirm. Shahrukh Khan is not the first successful actor to hit the Hindi Cinema. It’s great he has two back to back ATBBs and with a possible 3rd one within a span of 1 year but it’s preposterous to even suggest that he is the one and only when there were several stalwarts before him with humongous success.
