First pastel lehenga trend

Before pastel lehenga became a trend I believe this was the first time where bride was wearing light blue instead of red or maroon or pink..

Dress n bride looks beautiful but still white was always symbolised with widowhood in Hinduism.

Though i like pastel color but i love brides wearing red or maroon.

Well, Karishma wore pink to her wedding 20 years ago. Though hers was more of a bubble gum pink than pastel.

But yea hers was the first non red outfit I saw. In movies as a bride in Raja Hindustani she also wore a gold color outfit.

When did Dhadkan come out? Because Shilpa wore a royal blue outfit there which was very different. I know it looks lavender here but it’s blue I couldn’t find a good picture
