Siddhi, one of the wives of Ganpati resides to his right and hence, the idol with a trunk curved to the. right is called Siddhi Vinayaka. Just as the left sided trunk stands for prosperity, the right sided trunk. stands for freedom from all worldly pleasures and the attainment of Moksha.

Am not sure about Northern parts of India, but Valampuri Ganesha (valam means right side) is very special and sacred in Southern India. So, it is not bad omen or anything, just unusual, that's all ☹️

I laughed when I saw the next shot suddenly Abhi was clean shaven

They do shoot scenes out of order.

But if they pushed h back the wedding drama for next week this could have been a filler scene they shot.
