You're mixing the timelines up , she was very much excited about Arjun at the beginning, she said that she dosen't care about where Bhumi goes but she won't let Arjun leave , even after they came back she only focused on Arjun , she lost interest in him after he told about his swimming career , Shobana assuring about DJ being the heir was a few episodes beofre the 75th aniversary when Dhanraj taunted DB about delaying the announcement of DJ's succession....other things i agree she never bothered to serch for Prem, had a hefty and grand breakfast while his ashes were at home and had a dinner party at the 5th day after Prem's death.....her treatment of Bhumi annoys me eveytime, Bhumi should definitely snap at her for once
