I feel Ghum S1 was also better than AbhiRa , for all her faults Sai was atleast clear about her goals and aspirations. She stood for herself pretty well in the first half of the season. Virat was shitty husband but audiences recognised that and called him and Chavans out for their toxic behaviour . Here people have constructed AbhM and Birla temple and won’t tolerate a word against them .

Watched ghum till virat kicked sai out in the middle of the night…. But he still Realised his mistakes in less than 2 days and accepted his mistake in fir it if the whole village…

Yahan to Abhi was shown not accepting it fully… ab tak… abhir ki custody track mrin bhi he was not reframed.., how can these goenkas want Akshu to marry him.,,

Funny you mention GHKKPM s1... during the initial days of Abhira.. I actually couldn't understand the difference in treatment of Virat Pakhi love story and Abhira love story...

During that time, Ghum forum used to mock the varakhi love by calling it yoga love... fickle... instant... but Abhira was viewed as soul connection wala love...

To be fair both of them were stupid
