I don't think that bit matters much. If you see Sonam's wedding invites, mehendi, party invites, reception, they are all Sonam-Anand. Same goes for DP-Ranveer, Anushka-Virat, and Kiara-Sid. I just find it classy when it's worded like this, how traditionally it's done, for a reason. In all the weddings and receptions I have been to it was the same way. And I have attended a lot of Bengali, South and Maharashtrian weddings. It's a recent trend I've seen where some put the groom's name first everywhere. Maybe it is what is practised in some cultures. Idk 🤷♀
