I don't think that bit matters much. If you see Sonam's wedding invites, mehendi, party invites, reception, they are all Sonam-Anand. Same goes for DP-Ranveer, Anushka-Virat, and Kiara-Sid. I just find it classy when it's worded like this, how traditionally it's done, for a reason. In all the weddings and receptions I have been to it was the same way. And I have attended a lot of Bengali, South and Maharashtrian weddings. It's a recent trend I've seen where some put the groom's name first everywhere. Maybe it is what is practised in some cultures. Idk 🤷‍♀

All of Sonam’s events in Mumbai were hosted by her family. Probably same with DeepVeer and Anushka and Virat, and SidKiara. But Sidkiara had a Delhi reception too and no one knows what those invitations looked like. Same with Sonam’s Delhi reception. Virat & Anushka had one in Delhi too which was more public so those invitations might be out there on the internet.

I think with multiple celebrations at different locations plus big rich families, the groom’s side hosts an event for all of their side as well. To me it doesn’t look like going against tradition but rather adding to it, if that makes sense.

Receptions are traditionally hosted by the groom's side.

That's what I'm wondering. She openly said she'd never be with a politician. It's on record in a faridooon (LOL) interview.

I seriously feel this is an arranged marriage. Cos even in a recent bournvita biceps interview, raghav didn't mention how he met her. He dodged it clearly.

So wedding on 23-24 and reception on the 30th.
