Am glad this time national awards jury did something to correct the injustice meeted out to Telugu actors in lead roles. National wards overlooked some of the finest performances given by Telugu male leads over 5-6 decades.

Starting with ANR's performance in Devdas which is world class. And his movie is included in curriculum for training actors across the world

NTR's performances as Ram Krishna not to mention Ravan Duryadhan. So many actors played this roles on TV and films but nobody could bring out the very human aspects of these characters with their performances as he could.

There are other performers like Krishna garu and Shobhanbabugaru who gave break out performances several times in their long career

Chiranjeevi has so many wonderful performances to his credit which have been over looked

Ramcharan's performance in Rangasthalam have been overlooked

Allu Arjun has given a fine performance as Pushpa and he was awarded with best performance in lead role. This looked more like acknowledging the growth of Telugu films more than honouring his performance.
