This whole sequence was so freakin amazing ppl were going berserk, SRK's swag be breaching stratosphere in this one.....

I loved that scene where Vikram Rathore meets his granddaughter smiley36

After this the scene I loved the most was Deepika's pen scene and her chemistry with SRK is something else man....

SRK's chemistry ⚗️ with well SRK is the best part about the moviesmiley36the interval block was insane....

Because women/girls want to know without asking someone...therefore the tests. Doctors examining a fainted woman/girl (in an age where one could get pregnant) still take the pulse first and react accordingly after that... smiley2

I understood it as I'm the man in the jail but the jail belongs to the women...and I also understood his team as 'the girls'...I would not have expected anything else...

In the last scene, when Vikram had to bring Kalee and his henchmen into the prison, the women get no agenda. I read someone who reproached it as disappointing from Azad's side...I've to say that I watched the film more than once and I can vouch that it wasn't Azad who sent 'the girls' away (behind bars) but it was Kalee who ordered his men to put all behind the bars to be the audience to his killing of father and son.

The fight basically had been first Kalee vs Azad without Vikram reacting (latter felt defeated, like a traitor), then Kalee trying in vain to shoot Vikram with Azad pleading, then Vikram (with memory) alone against Kalee (settle the score...which he would have done alone without the giant involved).

At the final judgement, the respective women were present again.

I liked the film it’s a full entertainer

There are many plots and sub plots. For example, farmer, hospital, seal factory, voting, faulty guns

I loved deepika srk scenes. I hope they do a prequel on their love story. Rio was cute. Deepika’s character had a lot of dignity I liked how she shot corrupt police.

Young suchi and azad were adorable I loved their scenes together both didn’t get one of their parents

Marriage for plan plot was a bit raw they didn’t show why marrying narmada was necessary. Narmada shot him and he barely reacted

Vikram anti terrorist mission. pappu got martyred as gun didn’t work supplied by kalee (vijay) so 27 soldiers died.

Jail girls were good but they barely had any role except sanya and the one who got shot

I liked how they showed woman are not weak whether it’s aishwarya, narmada or jail girls. Nice end - hanging it comes full circle

Ridhi barely had a role she deserved a few more scenes or dialogues still brave of her to play a mother to srk. Eijaz has a good role pre-interval. Eijaz Vijay and both SRKs had typical south film roles.

I loved this song and the music https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ml7gXEeudg0

I see, you have written an extra review for this thread...

I still will refer also to the review in the no spoiler thread smiley1

Actually, I found all entry scenes impressive (SRK even had four!) and Vijay was really an evil villain with a very special coolness.

The love story between Nayantara (gorgeous actress!) and SRK was in the nascent stage and quickly troubled but in the end rather poetic/romantic (end credit)...Deepika and SRK had a well established, solid love life with sparks still flying...so - logically - very different in the 'chemistry'-departement.

From the girls, Priyamani (Lakshmi), Sanya (Dr. Eeram) and Lehar Khan (Kalki) had the meatiest roles...Riddhi (Kaveri) had also presence through Azad's narrations. I found the supporting roles really memorable: Sunil Grover as Irani (Narmada's assistant), Juju, Murad, Kalki's father,... and the emotional scene between Deepika and his son had such an impact also because of the kid-artist and Suchi was a gorgeous cutie!

Excellent casting, imo...and also excellent cutting/editing...technically, it was a very well made movie (much better than Pathaan).

I loved the surprises with Atlee and Sanju!!!

to be honest I didn't like azad narmada much only suchi was nice in their love story. poor ridhi barely had dialogues/ scenes. Eijaz got good screen time pre-interval

I liked suchi and deepika son scenes too.

yes casting and editing was good

why everyone has to compare it to pathaan? both were good in their own way when watching pathaan in the cinema I enjoyed it. SRK Deepika and John comeback that did so well at the box office. Mission impossible some parts barely has a story same with barbie

I agree to you and there isn't much I would compare, but if Pathaan had been a Red Chillies production, the technical work on it would have had a better quality. YRF should have shed a bit more money and taken SRK's VFX-departement smiley2

As for Nayantara-SRK love story...it was a difficult plot-part as Nayantara is the female lead to a character of the male lead, so there has to be a love story...and I think, they found a logical solution through the daughter...making Narayan a very strong and independent woman, her only emotional concern is Suchi and Suchi's happiness. Namada is very clear about only marrying because of her and only marrying someone who loves Suchi and whom Suchi loves. It's a mutual love between Azad and Suchi...Azad may teasing Namada (metro part), but he would not have chosen her as a love interest without getting to know that she chose to get Suchi out of wedlock and being a single mother working as a cop than abort the child. He at least gets positive feelings towards her and her acceptance of him as Suchi's choice touches him even more. She is a straight forward and very caring woman and he would not have the heart to disappoint Suchi by refusing to become her father (and marrying her mother).

This love story is very SRK and the expression of his eyes throughout all this is fabulous. Also the song shows how they fall in love gradually.

It is only Lakshmi's death and Namada's decision to join Azad's group that makes a fulfilling love-life between both possible (hence the very poetic parts of the end credits song)...before there was his feeling of betraying her that made the courting less romantic.
