If you were to rewrite Kayamath..

Just today, while watching Vidya's Dil Kya Kare video mix (which is splendid), I wondered how would it have been if MICHI's love story were just a tad different

Scenario a: The proceedings until MICHI get married under duress are the same. They are strangers who are together only to further their own cause - Milind wants to avenge Ayesha, while Prachi wants to save her family home. However, instead of falling in love within a month or so (as depicted in the serial), they actually remain distant, although they slowly become very good friends. I have always found it a tad unbelievable that Milind fell in love with Prachi within 2 days of learning her good intentions, when he actually carried a grudge against her family for most of his life. Similarly, Prachi was in love with Neev all her life, but almost suddenly decides that her husband has stolen her heart, which led to umpteen speculations that she loved MIlind only because she HAD TO. I would have preferred if MICHI had instead used their marital status to forge a friendship. However, Neev soon learns of Prachi's 'drama to give him a good life', and decides to divorce Ayesha to get back to his true love. Ayesha is obviously ecstatic because she wants HER Milind back😡. This way, both the couples split up, only for MICHI to slowly, but surely realize that they had fallen in love. So begins a new love story - from strangers to friends to lovers. Now, either Neesha can fall in love or turn obsessive - but MICHI's love would have been a tad more believable than what was shown in the serial. Meanwhile, Alaap falls for Suyesha😳

Scenario 2: NEECHI and MISHA love each other, but as their lives intertwine, each finds themselves getting pulled towards the other couple's partner - Neev falls for Ayesha, Milind falls for Prachi....no one is bad here, but the people who were a couple only because they knew each other from childhood actually find their true love with a complete stranger, who has led a polar opposite life...NEESHA and MICHI live happily ever after😆 This scenario will not be a BT-favorite because no one turns evil 😆

I really like the 2nd scenario....!!

Ayesha would have been dead by now 😆Michi with 10 kids and leaving very happy and in love with each other and their babys😳and Neev very happy been married to someone with a very good heart who truely loves him and they 2 will have 20 kids😆 😆

Hmm....guys, I am not asking you to pick one of my scenarios, but rather pen your own scenarios 😆

Kitty, I did'nt have much problems with the way they fell in love with each other because I dont think it was sudden for it is not just a month since they knew each other after marriage before they fell for each other. Afterall they showed Michi's anniversary within 5 months of their marriage. So the hate-indifference period must have been longer, infact I feel it must have been atleast 8 months becauase the time they were together before PIM started was very less, not more than a week or 10 days(by BT time), although they stretched it for three weeks.

During the entire period that Milsi thought he hated Prachi, he was drawn to her. In fact the guy was insanely jealous during the party dance after their marriage. And throughout this period he was witessing her goodness although he could not understand whether it was an act as Ayesha was poisoning his ear or was she really that good. Afterall the guy defended her in the sting operation. He knew that Prachi was different from the rest of the Shahs whom he hated. In fact did he agree to help her find her father's killer long before he married her? He married her more to get revenge from Ayesha than to avenge Alaap or the Shah family although that was an added motive not the main. However, soon he felt like an outsider in the family and hence started believing the lies Ayesha perpetrated but all the while hoping that Prachi was different from the rest. So I feel his love developed over time although he realised after he came to know that she was genuine afterall.

As to Prachi falling in love with Milsi, this too developed over time. Initially it as only duty which bound her to him. How did she forget Neev so soon? I feel she never really loved him in that way although she thought she did. Afterall she never knew any men other than her father and Neev who basically ran her life for her. She realised that after she married Milsi. Her love for him was also gradually developing and one could make out in the way she looked at him, from fear to a soft tenderness which turned to love. This she realised on the Independence Day party when she danced in the rain recollecting how Milsi claimed her as his wife. She let herself indulge in that love once she knew it is being reciprocated.

What I would like changed in KYM? I think I'll post that in an another post in this thread later since I have been rambling for long enough.   ;   ;
