I think awards should be given on the basis of credibility, performance. It's not charity. So, if someone is better then they should receive it, whether they already have it or not. Hiving away your chances to others just because you already got it once, ain't it.

If Arjun wud not have got it, I think NTR shud have for his performance in RRR.

There were phases that Pushpas character went thru.. which actually helped hit it right in the climax, that switch.. Arjun is brilliant at it.

It was far beyond a little hunch and make up.

I think Vicky was head and shoulders above Allu Arjun & NTR. And I haven't seen Jai Bhim so will reserve my comments on that. But acting is subjective so we'll just have to agree to disagree.

Anyone who watched pushpa in its original language can vouch for arjuns dialogue delivery and how well allu arjun played it without any sense of artificiality …it’s also the reason why it connected across the country with barely any promotions done beyond the Telugu version and despite another massive release (83) competing with it …

And yep the hunch…maintaining character mannerisms consistently , even through the songs, which is why Srivalli became a massive hit with its signature step 😎

It’s all part of playing a character ….and it’s all “acting”…not everyone can do it convincingly as evidenced by ur own example 😂

Allu Arjun deserved it completely, you will rarely see a mass heroic character that will attain both box office and critical acclaim nationwide that too not being made in Hindi. Pushpa is not only a career defining performance of his but a career challenging performance too where he let go off his strengths like style, dance, big scale songs, etc.

Never an actor from telugu industry has won the award, first time someone bagged it that too after 20 years of a career, but people will still find ways to demean the hard work and success saying someone else was robbed. Pushpa is one of the most difficult characters a main stream hero could pull off and someone who did it with immense craze and hype definitely deserves a national recognition. Every state in India must have watched and applauded Pushpa while I don’t know how many states watched Sardar Usdhaam.
