I am not understanding why they rewriting narrative that she was less padhu likhi, didn't have progressive thoughts( tu toh Aaj ki ladki) that's why she carried forward the marriage for 25 yrs . If she would have shown this mature about finance she wouldn't be giving divorce without any money support from V..she had given up on everything, heck she didn't make sure her kids future is secure before V gets remarried..not sure how she is treated as some great mother except for enduring their rudeness, arrogance and emotional availability and food she didn't put much effort into their parenting after divorce..She just made it about herself and V became conveniently acche pita whereas it was shown he just indulged T and P when he had senior position in his job..he also didn't do any actual parenting for any of the kids..Rather abused S for his dance, support to mother , leaving studies .

As shown she just simply loved V to the extent that she felt sorry for coming late for 30 mins from her friends ..she felt sorry for her whole existence.

Why makers are twisting about the education..

I have seen many rural gals not enduring any mis treatment and leave such marriages and many urban gals enduring such marriages..so it's not that simplified being educated and not..it's more than that in some cases or more.. sure many gals don't step out due to money or social stigma ..but Barkha is stuck due to money ..Rakhi due to social stigma plus her kid well being..

But Anu just stayed as she believed that after everything V loves her and she walked out only when she realised it's not the case after she has endured everything except for direct physical abuse..

IMO, Anupama's bhashans are not only boring but the longer they go on, the less sense they make.

Women like Pakhi are not a majority. The harsh reality is many families do not support their married daughters to come home permanently, many women can't get proper career growth because they have to manage the entire home responsibility with kids and work place. Majority of the women do not have a house to their name. They are either dependent on their husband or father for a shelter. As in most places, a single woman will need a more secure home (that means more money has to be spent too) than a single man. How many men earn enough to purchase a home in their entire lifetime? Does that mean they are not educated?

Financial independence, property, safety, emotional support - a lot is required, not only education. Extrapolating Pakhi's circumstances to 'aaj kal ki padhi likhi peedi jo SM PE post karti hai in others matters but keeps quiet in their own matters ' seems to be the character breaking the 4th wall on the criticism she gets which explains the ' paidaaan, doormat' dialogues as well to me.

Agreed... she loved V and that was the reason only EMA could break her and nothing else.

It's like the writers themselves have forgotten their own character sketches. The motivations change depending on the day of the month and the track they are pursuing.

Aur Anupama ka toh kya hi bole. Her lectures have become boring, pointless and nonsensical. Now it just feels like those motivational videos on the internet who portray themselves to be perfect and make odd claims about getting up at 3 am, 2 am and soaking up the sun, exercising right from the bed or something like that, which can be done only by 1% of the population. For the rest they are all impractical.

Except what Anupama claims does not even apply to that 1%. The writers should understand that fewer words can hold more weight rather than 10000 words that make no sense at the end.

And as far as Anupama's first marriage is concerned, it has been amply clear even in the past that the only reason she left Vanraj is because of the EMA and then the added fact that Devika motivated her and Kavya pushed Vanraj to separate from Anupama and marry her. Otherwise Anupama would have continued to remain Vanraj's wife and serve the Shahs, that too willingly and happily.

This is another reason why her words feel so hollow now and her so called journey to freedom is something that feels like more of a joke than actual inspiration
