Thank for the clarification. I guess will have to deal with it. A lot of time I see a post and try and react/quote and see that I can't do it. It gets a bit irritating at times to be not able to react to something we want to. With blocking it would have meant I or they can't see it. But now will have to use the screenshot feature :p
Well ours is a forum system where permissions are at Forum level and not Post level so we cannot implement such a thing.
We made changes and now the Display Name is also showing in user profile pages also and the Reaction List also.
Is it possible to change my UN back to heavenlybliss and my display name to MochaQueen? Or do I have to still wait a year to change my UN?
Mystery solved, for a moment I thought I sleep logged into Indiaforums and changed my name.

There is an ongoing issue in the Bollywood forum where a member is using her display name feature to attack another member. Everyone is seeing this and nothing is being done about it. Is this allowed? I reported this member to the channel moderator but she said it is out of her hands and is waiting for you to take action. I am posting this message here just to make sure this issue gets global attention. I do not think you created this feature only for people to misuse it. Please look into it and take appropriate action.
I think anyone caught abusing this feature should get a warning level increase. It is no different than attacking members.
Below are the screen shots of the three display names and they are posted below. Member misusing this feature is Carisma2. Member who is being attacked is Grumpydwarf24. This is open bullying and should be strictly dealt with. If MIDs can be outright banned for bullying, then regular members should at least be reprimanded and warned with a warning level increase for such uncalled for bullying.
I would appreciate you looking into this matter. No one should feel attacked on a forum that’s meant to be inclusive and welcoming. Thank you!
