She moved into her own apartment but had no money? But she was having alcohol and drugs? Toh apartment parents ka tha? And who was giving money for drugs and alcohol?

Her mother’s lack of supervision caused her to be hooked on drugs and alcohol before she was even 13. She was emancipated at 15 which in the state of California means you can live by yourself, work, pay your own bills even if you are legally underage (https://selfhelp.courts.ca.gov/emancipation#:~:text=Emancipation%20is%20a%20legal%20way,are%20legally%20like%20an%20adult.)

She’s been working since she was a kid so I assumed she had some money saved up. But she did go broke which is not uncommon for emancipated kids and had nothing once. She turned her life around sometime in her 20s but relapsed again several times as is the case with kids who grow up with physical dependence on drugs/alcohol. She’s been sober for the last several years now though.
