Sorry I meant to say raising hand. I too don't think she slapped her. I too don't like it when slapping is justified be it a negative character. If a person has a good upbringing I doubt he or she will ever raise hand let alone slapping. Its only shown in dramas and its disgusting. Also, I didn't like the way miss tanzeem Barged when Altmash and rutba were having conversation. She came inside and knocked the door. Bad manners I would say and Miss tanzeem is not even very close to rutba. I also liked that Azka stood up for herself.

I think Khursheed is angry because she raised hands agaist miss Tanzeem. I won't have problem if this is the reason and his anger is justified. If it's because Altamash and Azka meet then he is hypocrite. Rutba can go back to her home. Even if Mehar ali is ill its still her home.

I absolutely don't like it when the drama makes some of the audience feel that hero being with a side character is better than him being with the heroine. If Rutba feels that Tasmeen told Khursheed about her meeting with Altamash and goes to have a confrontation with her and raises her hand on her while Tasmeen explains how good Khursheed is then it will show Rutba in a negative light and Tasmeen in a positive light.

I want to mention that I don't see the love much from Khursheed's side. Rasheeda, Mehr Ali and Tasmeen told that he loves Rutba but I don't see that. I have seen more love from Rutba's side in the past 2 episodes than from Khursheed from all these episodes. And however Altamash is but I see that he likes Rutba. And in one of the initial teasers there was his dialogue 'Mohabbat hoti aisi hai jal jaane ka jala dene ka,' I can see his pain of losing Rutba. Even with all what Altamash has done I still see his liking towards Rutba but from Khursheed I see more of a responsibility towards Rutba than love.

I feel sane audience aren't siding with Khursheed and miss Tazmeen. I saw discussions on YouTube and someone even mentioned that it's not good of Khursheed to discuss his wife to a female friend who he just met. And I agree with them. If Rutba is wrong then so is Khursheed.

Agree with you. And however bad Alamash is he actually is very secure of Rutba. He trusts her. But here khursheed doesn't even seem to trust his own wife. I dislike such guys. And I too don't think he loves her as much as its specified by others. I can’t see it. And he seems to have trust issues. I don’t find him as sensible as it's portrayed here. If Rutba is not wrong she should not try to just herself if the other side is not willing to listen.

@Bold: That's what I say over interference in someone's marriage.

Khursheed getting angry because he saw Rutba raising her hand on Tasmeen was fine but him saying that wo uski nazron mein gir gayi was a bit much. And if he said this in front of Tasmeen then I wouldn't want them together.

I read this line that a good guy will sacrifice the girl to save the world but a bad guy will sacrifice the whole world to save the girl. Here I am not saying what is right and what is wrong. Generally they ask this question why girls are attracted to bad guys? I think it is because the girl knows the guy will never leave her and only has her in his life.

I think the problem lies with a writer especially female writer. Being a female herself she can understand and describe the complexity of a girl's emotion but they focus on the hero than on the heroine. And the sad part is they make her say sorry to the hero in the end while he gets away with the things. Reviewers like Aamna and Hassan say that the writers/the makers don't give the agency to the female characters especially female leads.

Knowing Hiba she won't take a weak character. Even in Deewangi, she didn't plead her husband to stay with her. She agreed to divorce him. Except her role in Fitoor she generally takes strong roles. Hope that Rutba will not be shown weak in the upcoming episodes.

Agree with you. And I have noticed even Rutba doesn't seem that insecure of Khursheed Tanzeem as much as khursheed is of Rutba Altmash. She only brings the topic when she herself is taunted.

I too would rather choose that selfish guy. Although I don't want Rutba to ever go back to Altmash. She can go back to her home and start studying . It's not like it's the end of the world without a guy.

The only sane writers I have seen is Umera Ahmed and Nadia Akhtar and maybe Bee gul although I have some issues too with Umera Ahmed story.Saima Akram Chaudhary too writes strong female lead but many of them are ill mannered. This hero worshipping is what pisses me off.

Khursheed accusation lasted few minutes but Rutbas would last for many more episodes. I don’t have high expectations from the writer as she is the same writer who wrote TBMN. But like you I am watching it for hiba and will give chance for her.

I think it's mainly because Khursheed knows how much Rutba loved Altamash. And I feel that they have not consummated their marriage and may be Khursheed thinks that she is not completely into this relationship while Rutba is waiting for his love confession before taking further step in this relationship. Because there is a scene where she asked him when will they talk then he said that when she becomes Rutba Khursheed Hassan from Rutba Mehr Ali. And may be his male ego also played a role in his possessiveness.

I want him to say that dialogue ' Pehele jaana mushkil lag raha tha ab rukna mushkil lagta hai' because she ignored him. May be it is just my wishful thinking.

No idea. Maybe now. She will go back to her home and start studying. She did see how much respect Khursheed is getting in College being educated.

I also don't watch that drama but got the gist of the story just watching the highlight. If the girl is ambitious, it's portrayed negatively in most of the dramas.

I would love it if it goes that route but I doubt it. let's see how it progresses next week.

In this BTS, I don't see Rutba. If not handled well, Khursheed and Tasmeen's friendship will look odd in the upcoming episodes.

I really want to see Rutba ignoring Khursheed. I think Khursheed will leave to US for MS. I want to see some angst so I don't want them to resolve the issue. In those two years, I want Rutba to start studying and Khursheed to complete his MS.

May be due to Mehr Ali's health condition he may arrange for the Ruksathi of Rutba. And when Khursheed said 'pehle jaan mushkil lag raha tha ab rukna mushkil lagta hai,' they were in Mehr Ali house, right?
