Correction. Hurting Abhir was a decision Akshara started the trend with even before Abhir’s birth, continued it through the pregnancy and post delivery, and Abhinav bas uske haan mein haan mila raha tha. And when they gave the option for him to handle the child, he hurt Abhir even more by enacting that stupid financial burden scene. Atleast abhi knew his place in both Roohi and Abhir’s life and never pretended otherwise.
