Delulu enough of him to think the people of India were waiting on him with bated breath to announce his allegiance to their mothership.

What a curious debate about his name...it's known since looooooooong that Akshay Kumar is his professional name (like e.g. Dilip Kumar's real name was Yusuf Khan, Ranveer actually has Bhavnani as family name and Sunny's real name is Ajay).

Akshay's wife Twinkle should have Tina Jatin Bhatia in her passport... or are double names as family names or keeping the father's name after marriage allowed in India?

Akshay gave up his Indian citizenship in 2011 in favour to the Canadian one offered to him:

"In the thick of the 2011 federal election, Stephen Harper appeared in the Indo-Canadian heartland of Ontario with a ringer. At a campaign stop in Brampton, Bollywood mega-star Akshay Kumar praised the then prime minister, danced on stage with his wife, Laureen Harper, and thrilled the audience. 12 years later, he got back his Indian citizenship, now giving up the Canadian one.

He did not settle in Canada, neither did he really work there...

Hopefully he's holding onto the Canadian passport under Rajiv Hari Om Bhatia. Lol.

I personally believe ppl should be allowed dual nationality.

One will always have a strong emotion to their birth place and also a strong emotion for where they live.

I live in one country, was born in another. My roots are somewhere from India, so 3rd place.

Any ways India is beautiful. I've never been but heard about it. Its one of the most beautiful places on earth. So if he stays here it's still a win win situation.

But I do want him to retire. All these actors who kept bolly alive and the lack of appreciation they get from keyboard warriors in Twitter ...

Let yeh have a dull BW.

Once upon a time Mumbai like Africa was nice.

Politicians ruin everything.

For celebs, they can afford to be in Nice places. So living in India is still a good choice for them. Hence let's appreciate Sallu, he lives in a small flat. Yeh he has a holiday home. But still.

There are times Akshay can't get to work by his car, he hops off, gets a rickshaw, walks etc but gets to work on time. And yet ppl troll him over what passport he had.

Never understood the craze behind his citizenship among his fans and anti fans.. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Ho bhi sakta hai, Modi ne kaha ho ki jab tum Indian citizenship loge tab tumhe bataunga ki mein aam kaise khata hoon, chuse kar or kaat kar, isliye akki ne apply kiya hoga 🤓
