This movie with a budget of 185cr is still struggling to hit 125cr after 19 days

Gadar 2 with less than half the budget of 75cr has made 135cr in first 3 days

Based on the budget..this movie is not even average

But then karan plays with everything..how bramastra was declared a hit with 400 plus budget and making 230cr..

Movies like Gadar 2 show what actual true success is when you talk wrt budget and BO..just the way verdicts are supposed to be..keeping satellite, digital yada yada separate. A true blue success (take Gadar for example) never talks about recovering budget thru satellitle etc..you know it has tanked when these are released through the PR team

He also engages in a lot of corporate / block bookings..despite that collections struggle to hit 125cr..where as movies which really hit the chord..without any of these block booking..make 135cr in 3 days that too all organic..

It only shows that perception is created but at the end when you have something like gadar 2 releasing shortly after..you realize the clear difference between actual organic success and PR/ media driven success

TJMM at 200 cr budget declared a hit to semi hit by Pinkvilla, Himesh.

BOI gave it an average status. well we all know BOI does not like to romance. i hope you have read their recent article about how they love the screams rather than silence movies.

RRKPK is not a flop. its heading towards an above average, just like TJMM.

and you do know the reason Gaddar is scoring. 99.9% of sunny pa movies have been either disaster or floppys since gaddar. kissi bhi movie meh desh ka naaro daalo, movie is going to score big at windows.😆epic formula

even karela story didn't need to manipulate any numbers.

the rest...all manipulate, be it kjo, roshans, khans, just like Himesh and BOI for their favorites.

surprising kjo and other trades figures are almost on par this time. so kahan ka manipulation😆

RARKPK did deserve to be more widely watched...But for some reason Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities dint turn up..this was not just another multiplex movie yaar...for some reason mass centres did not give it a chance..IDK what could have been done differently..marketing or the way the trailer was cut? I am not sure..if Oppenheimer can open at 16 crores..something has gone wrong with RARKPK as far as marketing was concerned or the negative image of Kjo has affected the opening collection..but nothing takes away from the fact that it is a beautiful movie..overseas it is a strong, smash hit..maybe it will find more appreciation in India once it airs on OTT.

Gadar 2/ Kerala story working - for the same as reason as Pathaan did..those singing high praises of Pathaan..and calling it very entertaining etc and having repeat value, now questioning and mocking Gadar 2 and Kerala story collections, calling it shit and jingoistic chest beating stuff - so predictable😆
