Rimjhim meets up with Chotu (Prems buddy). He tells her that some
man had come to ask him about Prems whearabouts. Chotu says ''i dont
know the mans name but i'v called him back tomorrow''. Rimjhim says
she can only think of one man (shes probably thinking of Durga).
Chotu asks her what should he do. Just then, Prem calls Chotu. Chotu
gives the phone to Rimjhim. Prem tells Rimjhim that Vijay has
changed his number and address in Singapore. Rimjhim says that
Malini probably has his real number and address. Then Rimjhim tells
Chotu that next time 'that man' comes, he should do the following
things (we dont hear what she says).
Babuji is looking depressed and he keeps thinking about how Pratik
begged for euthanasia (for Babuji and Kaveri to kill him to rid him
of his paralysis). Babuji is tortured by memories of Pratik saying
that he feels like hes living in a helpless body and even breathing
is a chore and Pratik saying ''Release me, i feel trapped, kill
me!!!''. Babujis continued to be haunted by Pratiks words, when
Kaveri comes along and tells Babuji that she wants to complete
Pratiks dream of helping the mill workers. Babuji says an
outright ''NO''. Kaveri tells him that its Pratiks dream and it
would give Pratik a reason to live. Babuji tells Kaveri to not tell
anyone of what Pratik said to them (about killing himself)
Malini and Iravati are alone in a room. Iravati asks her what she
wanted to discuss that was so important. Avinash walks in but both
women have their backs to him. Malini is telling Iravati that they
have found a good proposal for Rimjhim and its hard to find boys
like Prem. Malini says that they must get them married, in a simple
ceremony of course, but as soon as possible. Avinash is right behind
them and shouts at Malini ''what are you saying Malini, Pratik-
bhaiya is lying there paralysed and your thinking about getting
Rimjhim married, your a daughter in law of this house so act like
it, this is not the time to be discussing Rimjhims marriage'' etc
etc. Iravati tries to say something but Avinash gives her a mouthful
as well saying ''NO-ONE will speak of Rimjhims marriage until Pratik
has recovered''. Avinash goes off. Malini is not looking happy.
The Agarwal mill workers are gathered playing cards or something. Mr
Agarwal, Pratapji and Daya Shanker (corrupt union leader) all come
to meet the mill workers. They tell the mill workers
that ''considering Pratiks critical condition, he will be unable to
carry on with supporting you, so in his place we suggest Daya
Shanker''. The elder mill worker says that there is no need as they
have already appointed themselves a new leader. Mr Agarwal and
Pratapji are shocked as Kaveri comes walking out. Pratapji tells her
that she shouldnt do this as it may cause problems. Kaveri doesnt
listen to his corrupt advice. She says shes their leader and she
will make sure that Pratapji goes down and if he comes near Pratik
again then he will end up in a place worse then his nightmares.
Pratapji is angry and tells her that this is the end of the line for
her in politics.
Maharaj has packed his bag and is charging out of the house. A
concerned Khan is running behind and around him asking him why hes
leaving so suddenly. Maharaj says that he just wants to leave.
Rimjhim and Babuji are talking outside when Maharaj and Khan come
tumbling out. Rimjhim and Babuji ask Maharaj why hes leaving.
Maharaj says that he actually wants to go to Mathura and pray for
Pratik and promises he'll return in 3 days. Khan is relieved and
asks him why he didnt say that in the first place, Khan heartily
declares that he'l drop him off at the station. Babuji gives his
blessings to Maharaj. Khan puts Maharajs bags into the car.
Iravati comes into Pratiks room but Pratik is falling out of bed.
Iravati starts screaming and shouts for help. Babuji, Rimjhim, Khan
and Maharaj come running back inside and quickly pick Pratik up and
put him back onto the bed. Iravati says that ''if you needed
anything you should have asked''. Babuji holds Pratik and questions
him on what hes trying to do. Pratik gives a sad look to only Babuji
and Babuji understands that its because he wants to kill himself,
Babuji doesnt tell anyone. Babuji is saddened. Iravati
shouts ''where is Kaveri, why isnt she looking after Pratik''.
Babuji makes an excuse and says that shes gone to see the doctor.
Kaveri comes in and Iravati gives her a mouthful. Everyone leaves.
