He is a kind of institution...and - I guess - the last one this way...may it last as long as possible...I really find it kind of cute...

Tamil Nadu is such a polarizing state. On one hand, they are on the upper echelon when it comes to literacy & practical living. On the other hand, extremely religious & superstitious. The "Pakhand" is on next level with people actually donating gold jewelry to their favorite dieities even if they don't have money to eat.

And the star worship....is unfathomable & sorta scary. Whether it was Jayalalitha or Rajnikanth....the things their fans do would leave an outsider in shock. No less than God for these people.

All that said, if anyone deserves it....it's Rajnikanth. The simplicity, the humbleness, the humility, the rags to riches story should be an inspiration to all New Age "Superstars".

Popularity, love, respect, liking is something this man can still get at 70.

Shame on the middle aged men who get no positive attention even if they try or buy.

He' is hardworking and doesn't leech on other ppls efforts and contacts.

Interesting, with all his enduring popularity and the craze that still exists, he couldn’t make a success in politics as they thought he would
