I also watched an episode of Kabuli Pulao after ready so many raving reviews. Sabeena is definitely doing A LOT better in this role than Tere Bin and this character really suits her. However, with the amount of praise I was reading online, I think I was expecting something crazy and intense. One performance that did knock me off my feet was Mawra's performance in Nauroz. Regarding kabuli pulao i watched two episodes n m still not impressed with sabeena. I find her accent fake ,may be because m not used to that accent..She is the female lead and the story is also very good but i don't find range in her acting..But, I must say she looks gorgeous there much different from TB. In TB i think she ruined her lips with lip augmentation and other procedures . But, in KP she looks very pretty..

Hamza Sohail is growing on me too😆 I liked him in fairy tale and now in sirf tum also .But, his performance in that badshah begum was superb even though he wasn't the lead there..

TB was passionate romance and both Yumna and Wahaj excelled at that and their chemistry was electric. Glad Yumna took it up not all actresses will even be comfortable with it. She decided to do it coz Wahaj seems to genuinely care about the comfort level of his heriones. One of the reasons she wanted and pushed him to do it.

I know we bash Nooran and Siraj but kudos to them as they did give us the characters and the larger than life atleast the first 20 episodes. Not all dramas are about passionate love and we may not see that again anytime soon unless Nooran gives us that level of romance in S2.

I think sajal can also do passionate romance very well if she gets a good script. She has a very expressive eyes and emotes really well.. Apart from yumna and sajal i didn't find anyone else in their age group so good in romance and emotions..

I also think Iqra is great at intense romance as well.

I have to say though, I always knew Yumna suited the romance genre. I remember when PKS was airing, the chemistry between Yumna and Bilal was so good, that even Amna took the risk of asking Yumna during an interview if there was something going on between the two of them offscreen 😆 It may be a surprise to people, since Yumna is more girl-next-door pretty rather than unattainable supermodel pretty - but chemistry isn't about looking drop-dead gorgeous, it's about connection. There are so many Bollywood pairing that look gorgeous but fail at the box office.

Yumna's strengths is that she's an uninhibited performer, which is why she doesn't look like she's conscious performing romantic eye locks or vulnerability. Secondly, Yumna is great at establishing a connection with her co-actors, not just the love interest. Even her and Yasra in DNUTN and her and her mom in PKS had great action-reaction. THat's why, in addition to the romance, the nok jok scenes between her and the ML is fun to watch. Example - Abdullah and Mahjabeen, Hayat and Zaki, and of course Murtasim and Meerab.
