Independence Day is on Tuesday so I think it will do good business for 5 days even if the WOM and reviews are negative. It should do 100-110 Cr+ in first 5 days in the worst case scenario.

Gadar 2 was announced in 2021, before the release of TKF. And I think Sunny had been trying to make it for a while before that. So I don't think this is propaganda as much as it is a desperate cash-grab. Though I am sure, they made changes to the script after TKF broke out.
