Yes.😅 He was hilarious even when he was dancing in that Jhumka song. Glad you brought him up. He definitely needs to get his due recognition.

yeah and soumen guy 😆
You mean Sonam, er no Shobha? 😆
He was too good. His reactions were the best. I would always look around for him to see his reactions and he never disappointed.🙌
I won’t lie. This is where they sold me their story. I was a crying mess when Rocky comes and back hugs Rani mouthing his grandpa’s lines. ðŸ˜ðŸ¥¹
How are people okay with Rocky and Rani arranging dates for ex-lovers Dharam and Shabana's characters while his wife Jaya was still alive? And they share a kiss in front of her while some comedic bg music plays. wtf?🤢 They are shown to be in toxic loveless marriages but the fact that they're shown as some epic love story is messed up. Would KJo show the same if the woman's husband was still alive and Dharm's character was a widower?
I also didn't like how there was no scene showing why Jaya's character is the way she is. She didn't get a chance to explain herself, only shown as evil old lady. Entire family disowns her yet her and her business are the reason they're affording their lifestyle
Alia was bland and her character was annoying, trying to hard to be woke but Alia was unable to make her likeable or charming. No meat to the love story, they were in a lust story, then suddenly she decides she misses him during Tum Kya Mile and then they're back together in love and soulmates. Why and how did they fall for each other? Esp why did Rocky fall for her?

Rocky did explain at the start that his dadi's bitterness stemmed from how she was treated by her saas. She unknowingly incorporated that and treated her bahu the same way. Also kept the son away from his father to not let him be influenced by him. In trying to ensure her son becomes a successful entrepreneur, she destroyed a father son relationship.
It was utter rubbish. It had nothing to offer except gorgeous sets.
I think what I disliked the most was the justification of extra marital relationships on the grounds that the respective people are married to unsympathetic and cruel people. So it's ok for Rocky's grandfather and Rani's grandmother to sneak off and coochie coo with each other because his wife is an authoritarian and her (dead) husband used to hit her ? How utterly disrectful this behaviour was to his wife, sitting there large as life. But it's all good cos you know, "soulmates". Based off a 7 day interaction some 50 years ago.
Paralyzed Dadaji regains the use of his legs and memory and starts walking talking and singing after one visit from his sweetheart😆
Men and women dressed in heavy Indian finery suddenly materialise at an akhada of all places to start singing and dancing😆 I mean they could at least have had the dancing crowd dressed for the environment.
Music was substandard and there was a terrible overuse of classic Hindi film songs which just goes to show how creatively bankrupt the Hindi film/music industry is.
Bengali and Punjabi stereotypes were on full display.
Alia is supposed to be the host of a talk show but suddenly she's in Kashmir filming what looks to be a lifestyle documentary 🤔
Does Rocky do any work?
Even the points they tried to make were heavy handed and preachy. A few days of Alia in the patriarchal Randhawa household and suddenly the oppressed women awaken from their deep slumber and start asserting themselves.

Rocky was shown multiple times at his office and also at the board meetings assisting his daadi and dad. No?
