If they do indeed want to do some kind of reunion even a couple of months from now, an Akshara who can only feel PITY for Abhimanyu's pain and an Abhir who didn't even glance back once at Abhimanyu before happily returning to Goenkas to stuff kachoris in his mouth isn't really going to cut it😆

They are totally proving Abhi's love as always having been one-sided through such scenes....it was really patronizing of her to try and tell him so many people love him...it was coming across very clearly that she never even understood or loved him 1% in all these years....lol cuz the things she was saying to him can only be said from one stranger offering casual pity to another.

Btw HC was amaaaazing in the first scene once again. My heart really broke for Abhi when he talked about how he never got anything he wished for in his life, that he never intended to hurt anyone but still ended up causing hurt....and his expression when Ak was trying to tell him that many people love him....lol ek toh that line felt like such pitying bullshit coming from her as if she doesn't know the kind of love he felt for her that she can talk about love so casually with him now.....but the way HC portrayed Abhi's pain there was amaaazing.....you could feel how drained Abhi was feeling, tired of fighting so long and hard and never once being able to win the love he wants in life.

This! Exactly this, this is why people need to watch the episode. Not for her, she was superficial and just wanted to feel good about herself by consoling him. But Abhi! His words, his emotions were all bare to the person who has countlessly mocked him and his emotions. But still, he said everything, and we could feel everything. His whole life story was in that one scene. And for once, Ak didn't invalidate anything; she just stood there cause what can she really say?

Today’s epi looks like Abhi will get scenes of imagining Abhir around the house and feeling empty. Role reversal of what Sharmas were doing after losing custody. lol lame parallels.

I also hope Ak’s “comforting” doesn’t amount to more than staring at him from a distance. There is nothing she can say that will feel genuine cuz she has gone out of her way to eviscerate him as a father all along.

As it is, it’s creepy that she is doing this when her happy family is celebrating their victory inside. Why is she bothering Abhi now then? 🙄
