I agree not everything she says is true.
But this is a dirty industry. To some point it does happen.

Aww shucks. But Your loss since you don’t know you’re missing….
She is not wrong.
I have heard many other actresses say that.
The hero, producer and director expect women to pander to their egos, keep them in good humour or do whatever they ask, never ask questions or make demands.
They want heroines to keep quiet even if hero is late on sets or abruptly cancels shoot or heroine's own schedule gets disturbed due to hero or director's whims.
They want actress to do anything and not question or express discomfort or make demands.
For eg if actress is not keen to do steamy scenes or wants privacy during shoot of such scenes, then she is accused of having too many demands and nakhre.
Actress has to act all docile and dutiful and often even fulfil physical demands of hero or producer or director or else she gets no further work.

Kangana is not the beacon of feminism like she wants the world to believe
if anything she’s a bloody opportunistic fraud
Kangana's statement has nothing to do with feminism.
A lot of actresses and actors have spoken on this aspect of film industry and exploiting women and often even child artistes and young male actors or models.
Not everyone speaking about exploitation has to be a feminist or gender activist.
High time people stopped attaching labels.
Especially the bigger the hero, filmmaker are, the more exploitative they are. Happens in regional industries too and is also rife in HW.
I think this is where the girls from the film families are truly better off. You won't have producers directors actors leeching on them.
The predators know who to target. Young, no backing, timid ones are their obvious choices.
The whole Deepika Padukone controversy shows just how deeply patriarchal Bollywood still is. A top actress asks for humane 8-hour...
