First link I looked at author name and institution name (By Sushant Singh, a senior fellow with the Centre for Policy Research in India)didn't have to read further 😆

Akhand Bharat did exist during Ashoka period. Maano na maano many parts of Nepal were part of these kingdoms be it Nandas or Maurya n Gupta's.. it was only during Shah dynasty that Nepal was formed. 🤗

I asked you if these are facts or right wing talking points and you make it about me. Typical. Today is the first time I have heard this word. So I googled it and those were the sites it took me to. Looks like only Indians from India are familiar with it and this hasn’t caught up globally. A quick Google search confirms the same. Feel free to share neutral sources if you have any. Otherwise, I have no interest in debating Hindu nationalist talking points.

South Korea is a developed country n India is counted in developing country.

World still see India is backward in many aspects. Infrastructure wise India is still behind but korea is at par with western countries. Koreans look rich with their lifestyle.

Korea has more money n infrastructure to host international events like Olympics which makes foreigner visit korea. Then countries do trade tie ups n west want top notch quality for products so korea is able to provide the quality west wants.

Such things promote culture, music, lifestyle etc.

India's funds go in many kind of subsidies for large poor population. Hence it's left with little for promotion of its culture, food, music etc n doing collaborations.

I always wonder why Korean men don't have facial hair 🤪

N here we girls have to do face wax.

Bahut nainsaafi he😭

Did any part of my post said calling for Akhand Bharat today?

If I read back my post I was speaking about Akhand Bharat in historical terms and only said parts of Nepal were in Akhand Bharat or during the rule of Chandragupta Maurya many parts of India and Nepal were under his kingdom. It was during that time Akhand Bharat termed was coined.

Maybe kdramas will survive but also Squid Game is like a copy of Saw,Escape Room,The cabin in the woods..and many only watch kdramas because of their idols.

Sorry but no one know NewJeans here. I liked Fifty fifty Cupid song but they have the potential? 🙄🤔 I remember Ikon-Love scenario was everywhere and where are they now? As soon as the big three get enlisted and retire it's over. YG also thinks they can replace Blackpink with Babymonster..🙄? good luck with that!

I disagree. During pandemic, everyone tuned into Netflix and started watching Kdramas without knowing the actors well. The Kpoopies only watch dramas with their favs but not others.

Many watched Snowdrop only for Jisoo..others because their idols watched that kdrama, others because in Itaewon V had a song..

I mean, I use ONLY korean skincare products ( although they cost a bomb ). Cosrex, Klairs, Isntree, Beauty of Joeson, SOME BY MI . I have seen significant improvement in my skin texture and elasticity after starting to use them. Also they feel great on skin. 😳

I always binge watch korean dramas, movies. Even trying my hands on korean dishes. Korean men are just so so goodlooking. Of course, so are Chinese men. ☺️

My mom and aunt are always listening to BTS, blackpink, Mamamoo and Exo's songs. Even I don't get it . I mean, they don't even understand a word of korean . 😆

I have never seen Indian pop culture as wildly popular worldwide the way Korean one has arrived on world stage with people going crazy to know about their literature, food, skin care, make up and even travelling to their countries hoping to find life partners there.

That insane level of curiosity, interest, popularity has never been seen for Indian pop culture. I guess last time world was so interested in India was in medieval era when all invaders set their eyes on India.

Otherwise India has seen interest in only yoga and meditation/spirituality, from global community.

I never saw Indian pop culture, books, dramas, web series, celebs, music gain that fame abroad or the names of Indian idols trend wildly on YouTube, Insta and Twitter daily.

Or people SO obsessed and enamoured that they travel to India to get married or want to know what to do to look like Indians.

The level of fame and obsession Korean culture is enjoying is unprecedented and insane. Unlike isolated cases of popularity of only Ash and SRK from India abroad.

This is true actually. But I won't say it's wrong .

K-pop>>>>>>>>>>>>>Indie-pop

K-ent>>>>>>Indian ent

Of course ^^ these are my opinion.
