Even Pakistani men have ranked higher in handsome/hot lists compared to Indians.

It is not my comment alone.

The rants of some users here remind me of backlash when Rega Jha commented on looks of Indians in comparison to looks of Pakistanis. Whole Twitter went in meltdown mode then.

Your comment is a subjective preference.

Nobody knows these actors outside India. Suriya and V Devekaronda have still a primarily South Indian fanbase.

The only Indian men who have ever made it to global most handsome/hot lists are young Dharmendra, Salman Khan in their prime in People magazine lists. I do not know of any other Indian men making it to global hot lists. SRK has made it to many power and influence lists globally but I do not recall him featuring in handsome or sexiest or hottest lists globally.

In past maybe Kabir Bedi also featured in global media. Rest I have not seen names of desi models or stars in global hot lists or global fans trending their names worldwide and having hots for them beyond nationalities and borders at the scale that Korean celebs have now.

What are u a Pakistani or an Indian. Makes me curious about your nationality.

Fair skin is never a gauge to measure men's handsomeness. Arjun rampal, Hrithik Roshan,Vijay devarakonda, Surya, Rana dagubatti are so handsome and they all are tanned and they are God damn irresistible. I don’t find any of the Pakistanis as sexy as them.

At that time I didn't know what a Sikh was... .I was really impressed looking at them and they were very tall even taller than people here so everyone stared at them because they could perfectly well be basketball players.

I am talking about their skin quality. It is clear and even.

It is not just fair.

One can see it in live videos as well. It is not full of pits, scars, fine lines, acne marks, pigmentation, blemishes. It is comparatively very even and smooth. They also look younger than their actual age thanks to smooth, shiny glass skin.

What is need to mock their eyelids? That is how most East Asians look like and so do people from Northeast India and Nepal, Tibet.

Indians are also racist AF to not just Blacks but everyone including each other. Check their never ending hate for NE people, South Indians vs North Indians or rest of India hating on people from UP and Bihar and calling them bhaiye or cowbelt people.

Anyone can be racist. What does it have to do with global fame? Or popularity and appeal?

All these polls winning represents they have more reach and popularity. I believe there are many handsome/hotter men in common people(or even in other field) than Salman/Srk/young Dharmendra etc., IMO.

I believe Indians think Pakistanis look better because of fair skin.

Fawad, Mahira, Saba, Sanam etc look quite ordinary to me. Never understood madness for them.

Or maybe I am a Punjabi so such looks do not surprise me at all and are common here.

Fawad has ruined his face of late. He looked better earlier.

This is the point. Why Indians were never able to attain that popularity and reach?

Anyway the last line is diplomatic. One can say that about any nation and people. Like there could be a woman more beautiful than Ash in India but they are not in showbiz so we never know.

The only thing left to say is 'beauty is subjective'.

But we cannot dismiss how Koreans took world by storm and now others look for Korean make up and skin care brands or check their diet, home remedies hoping to get skin like them or ask their own local dermatologists and cosmetologists how they can get skin and hair like Koreans.

Indians or South Asians in general never became aspirational ideal for skin or beauty in that sense.

We do not have rest of the world wanting to look like us or desperately googling what we eat or home remedies we use or digging our skin care and make up products to look like us.

Though world is surely interested in our yoga, meditation, but we have made mark more in wellness and spiritual industry compared to pop culture, beauty and glamour or entertainment industries.

I am very much Indian and I never said only fair skin is handsome.

I am talking of skin texture and even tone, skin quality. Not colour.

I clarified it in other posts.

Anyway I never saw Hrithik or any Indian star having youth trend their names worldwide daily or vote them on top of every hottest, sexiest and most handsome polls the way Korean idols have people hyperventilating over them globally.

So much so that Indian media also had to call Korean idols on their shows, live chats and interviews to fulfil demands of Indian fans of Korean idols.
